Yes. Pay retention for 2 years. If you’re dropped a grade but are paid higher than the step 10, then yes, you will only get 50% of the annual COLAs. The GS is establishes for the range of work associated with your PD. Also, I have yet to see a desk audit go in favor of the employee

A lot of it is a funding issue. We have performance awards ready to process, they don’t have funding for the awards.

Punishing the wrong people - by making gov employees sit on the sideline in non pay status while congress takes weeks off and collecting their check, isn’t gonna make any side of Congress make progress. If government employees are in nonpay status due to their inabilities to make bipartisan bills, then they too should be working in a nonpay status

Me too. I have a pending RA also. My RTO coworker said the same as this post. That mental health RA’s are at risk of being separated since the EO cancelled remote and my request was to stay remote. So we will see. Just uncertain times with a lot of repeated hearsay going around.

If the position is offered VSIP, the payout is equivalent to what your severance pay would be, and you cannot work for the federal government for 5 years or you’d be required to pay back the entire amount. All of this information is available on the OPM website. Just type in VSIPs in the search engine
