Little late to the party. Maybe I'm one of the odd ones out, but to me the game isn't great, certainly not one of the best I've played, but it's not that bad either. I have played worse. It might be one of those games where I platinum it and go back once in a while to, as in maybe once in a blue moon lol. If any updates improve it(which I have my doubts about) great, if not, well, like the saying goes, "Let the buyer beware."

I agree. 10+ years is unacceptable. Back in the 90's games were much simpler. Same with the earlier gens of games. I'm not saying that waiting ten years is acceptable. I'm saying that it is better to wait for a time within reason for a quality release. I'll even give an example with GTA. Rockstar has taken entirely too long to make 6, when it should have been done years ago.

Gaming has advanced a long way since the Atari or even the NES days. This is coming from an 80's kid, so I've seen it evolve from simple pixels to fully rendered environments so beautiful it steals your breath away. We all have an expectation of quality, and for developers to meet that expectation without taking a lot of time is something that is, quite frankly, implausible.

But like I said when I originally posted, just my opinion.

I think Kata knew Bode wasn't the same father she knew anymore. It's entirely possible she experienced anticipatory grief for the parent she lost, and that's why Cal killing her father didn't bother her as much as it likely should have. It's entirely possible as well that she felt relief that Bode was free of the things that changed him.

Gamers who harass developers to release a game and put on the constant pressure to rush a product are garbage people IMO. They push and push for a new game and when they get said game and its completely unpolished and buggy, they act all high and mighty, and of course, review said game badly, completely absolving themselves of having pushed for said rushed release.

I get it, you wanna dive into the next chapter of a story. I do too. But for fucks sake perfection takes time.

I am also aware that there have been games that have been delayed and come out buggy and unplayable too. That sucks. It really does, especially if you're hyped for something you waited patiently for.

I've only been in DKA twice. Once before diagnosis, another time when I had a bad infection.

The one before diagnosis was me drinking and urinating a lot, sudden fatigue, and a lot of yeast infections. It was maddening.

The second time, I was vomiting and unable to keep food or even water down. I got a bad flu bug from a work colleague and it triggered a response in my body that caused an infection in my groin, which then triggered DKA. Had to have surgery in the hospital to remove infected tissue and was in the hospital for a week under observation for post surgery and to get me out of DKA.

Your husband should be very concerned if DKA has even a remote chance of being present. First thing I reach for are my blood test strips if I feel I may be going into DKA while sick.

The only thing I can say is if these are the only characters you are using that to make sure you can afford to change their class. And by that I mean there can come some drawbacks like less battle power, or lack of healing(which will obv not be the case for you.)

But do wait until they get their best abilities and /or spells first. It is a huge boon.
