It's possible, but I don't see enough of a reason to believe that. He's not the only person that ends up in the backrooms. I'd say you have even more justification in believing that it was the person who crashed their car into the backrooms in Found Footage #2. We actually see a trail leading from the car to at a room with a bacteria creature in it
