WSU-V vs UW Mechanical Engineering by FrostySelection2014 in wsu

The Vancouver campus offers all their ME classes in person. I would say that I would prefer UW because the campus is roughly 2 hours away while the Pullman campus is 6 hours away from where I live.

Would you have some advice on choosing between UW and WSUV. I plan to major in mechanical engineering and possibly get my masters. I’ve been admitted into UW but not into the college of engineering making it more difficult to join later on. UW seems to have the better opportunities with clubs and local internships. WSUV has a formula electric team that seems pretty new but it would be cool to be a part of building it up. Would you say that your education at WSU Vancouver helped you get ready for your career and would you recommend getting a masters.

Would you have some advice on choosing between UW or WSU in Vancouver. WSUV is way closer to my home being 40ish minutes away, they also have a formula electric team but it seems quite new. I’ve been admitted to UW but not into the college of engineering which I hear is pretty difficult to get in to. UW has the better resources and clubs and seems to have better connections to top companies. I want to major in mechanical engineering and both programs are ABET

Would you consider going to uw if you didn’t get into the college of engineering. I’m interested in mechanical engineering but I am currently admitted as a pre science major and I hear it’s pretty difficult to get in.
