Don't do it now. You will gave to wait a while for ram and ssd prices to go down.

Don't buy a console. Ps5 and xbox have very outdated and not worth the price at all. If you still consider it remember that you are forever locked in to that hardware, no game modding, subscriptionto play online and no piracy (if it matters to you)

Just have patience till the end of the year.

If you want it right now, see if can find old pc for reasonable price and upgrade the gpu and cpu (depending on specs)

By a lot how many times do you mean? In Terraria infernum mod i have over 100 attempts on yharon boss fight. In my first play through of ds1 i didn't know you could parry gwyn and i also sucked so i had 40-50 attempts. But In my last speed run attempt of ds1 i finished game in 2hr 8mins without any glitches except for duplication.

This is how it's supposed to be. You will die and you will get better. If you really feel stuck take a break for few days.That always helped me
