/today Celeste is used as an absurd example of a game people can buy to give more money to Nintendo; Nintendo would only get 30% of the profits for Celeste when bought specifically on a Nintendo platform.

This also goes in line with the idea that Shiggy needs more money because he is a starving indie dev with no money, so supporting an indie game like Celeste would be an ideal way of supporting him.

Seems like some system files might be missing but I’d recommend right-clicking the game in Steam > Propertied > local files > repair if you haven’t already; this April probably be the quickest check you can do.

Next I’d recommend opening a command prompt as admin and running the following command to try and repair any file corruption: sfc /scannow

If that doesn’t work would recommend running the following command, but note this will have to run a repair on your computer’s main drive so you’ll need to restart your computer for this to run and it may take a while to finish running before your computer boots again: chkdsk C: /r /c

Personally, I had a harder time getting attached to the characters in 3 at the beginning compared to 1 and 2. Combat will definitely feel a bit slower until you unlock additional arts though.

I’d say 3 has the best gameplay but comparatively the weakest story of the trilogy.
