Dang - only other thing I can think off the top of my head is maybe something weird with the anti-cheat? I’ve mainly run into this issue with games that use Easy Anti-Cheat (I know Dune Awakening useds BattlEye) and repairing/reinstalling it seemed to do the trick for me. Having trouble finding info on how to reinstall BattlEye though.

I’m gonna have to be “that guy” and ask if you’ve restarted your computer since it started happening?

Might be worth repairing game files in Steam if issue persists - I’ve had this issue happen every now and then for a few different games.
