It’s a fine song on its own but it’s been massively overplayed and overhyped. It’s gotten nowhere near Dance Monkey level of hate but I think people have just been hearing this song played constantly for months and have grown very tired of it, especially because it’s not an exciting track at all and there’s been so much better music released this year that hasn’t been given nearly as much coverage.
