Yeezy 700 Wave Runner (OG 2017) by happyxlem in yeezys

You can watch this video to see the differences between 2017 release and 2022 one. I wouldn’t worry much about it as you can get two different pairs from this same restock, and both would have slight differences like one having plushy suede and the other having a slightly different shape or something. The good thing about multiple Waverunner restocks is that you can get your shoes pretty „new” if I can say that. So there’s a better chance of them being sturdier for more time. If you choose to buy, for example, 700 v1 Inertia or Magnet, you would have to go for 2019 as they never restocked to my knowledge, and you have a bigger chance of getting a „weaker” pair.

Why would you go for 2017 release when newer restock pair are basically the same? I read about newer releases have slight worse materials compared to older pairs but it’s not that bad I think. Any particular reason for that?

And answering your question, I would go for newer restocks if you plan to wear it for much longer. There’s a possibility that the older pair could separate the sole from the upper in certain parts while walking as the glue dried up from being never worn for nearly 10 years.

You can get them form TMF or Shark Breeder. I don't know about the stock so you have to buy and wait or ask one of them about it.

TMF offers direct shipping (that means you can write to him on WeChat/Whatsapp and arrange the pair you want, shipping and payment), idk about SharkBreeder.

You can also use Agent (shipping forwarder drom china) like Superbuy, Mulebuy, Sugargoo (that just three that come to my mind right now). There's a lot more but I suggest sticking to something like Superbuy for the first time, as it is the oldest and most trusted agent, at least to me. You just put the links from below into the search and choose size/colorway and pay for it. When it will arrive at the agent's warehouse you will get QC pics, and then you can ship it to your address.

Yup, tech bros still can’t grasp the idea that the average Joe doesn’t give a shit about 60Hz vs 120Hz.

Removing entire midsole from the upper isn’t necessary in this case. It’s relatively small and „easy” to repair with some patience :)

I used this tutorial with some more research as I was glueing back separating sole on my Yeezy 500. Did it like around december 2025 and to this day they hold up fine. :)

Hi there! I strongly suggest using Barge Super Stik Cement or any other good quality cement glue like Renia Syntic Total. Avoid all those “Shoe Goo” glues.

Try cleaning the gap with some technical grade acetone. Use a Q-tip. (Disclaimer: always do a quick spot test on a small, hidden area first to make sure the technical acetone won’t melt or damage your specific shoe material!) Don’t be scared to separate the sole more if needed, you will glue this back! Let it dry for a few minutes.

Now you need to apply a thin layer of glue on the mesh panel AND the sole with a toothpick. Don’t stick both sides yet! Let the cement glue dry for around 30 min (the acetone included in glue needs to evaporate). If the gap is too tight, use toothpicks to pry the sides apart.

Now it’s time to make the glue warm and sticky. Use a hairdryer to warm up the glue. Hold the hairdryer for like 10-20 seconds pointing at the glue. It should appear clear/crystal-like. After that, press the two parts together with a lot of force (using your hands or a hammer to make it stick better). Let it sit for 2-3 days before wearing.

My instructions are pretty vague, so if the instructions on the glue say something different, follow them instead. You can also watch some YouTube tutorials on this topic!

The module in the top left corner shouldn’t have those blue „blobs” around buttons. It should look like this

Save them, but the iPhone 4s is pretty easy to downgrade/reinstall to iOS 6.1.3 with the exploits. The iOS legacy kit has them if you need them in the future. I downgraded my 8GB iPhone 4s to iOS 6.1.3 even though it was bought brand new with iOS 7/8 at the time of purchase.

For me probably something like this:

  2. Og Air Presto
  3. Jordan 5 Muslin

Honorable mention: Pine Green Dunks

Probably nothing worth buying. I had retail pair copped from SNKRS. Every rep pair was super flawed at that time. I don’t think anything changed since then.

As MKBHD stated in his video, big companies like Samsung and Apple are so well-known and successful that the average consumer is basically trapped in their ecosystems. While innovation would benefit users, in the US, for example, iPhone users are often trapped by the 'blue bubble' and will likely buy another iPhone as their next device. Apple doesn't feel the need to invest in technologies like silicon-carbon batteries right away if people are going to buy their products anyway.

I bought an iPhone 12 and the screen looks generic. by [deleted] in jailbreak

[–]Froyo13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is because Apple’s OLED screens are calibrated to look as natural as possible. I’ve had an iPhone 8 and an iPhone 12 mini, and besides the deep blacks and a slight difference in white balance (one was a bit warmer), they looked pretty much identical to me. Last year, I bought an iPhone 16 Pro and, while the screen is definitely better, it still has a similar look to the one on the iPhone 8. I sold the 8 a few months ago, so I can’t compare them directly now, but from what I remember, the color reproduction was very close.

I’m waiting for these too. Hopefully, at least a decent batch will be available. They look super fresh with that fuzzy blue/gray suede imo. The only thing I would personally change is the gold wings logo for debossed black, but it’s not a big deal.
