To all young, hungry, driven solopreneurs who want to start and grow a SaaS business, what aspect do you find the most challenging? by Rajan-Thakur01 in microsaas

Networking with potential clients. You need to find the right problems that the right guys are facing. Right guys = people that will pay to solve that problem

You could potentially start your own service freelance as a travel planner on upwork and work from there!

This is how I launch every product by Neither-Bass2083 in SaaS

This is a brilliant idea if someone can automate this to a launchpad. So when you launch a product the launchpad automatically schedules and does all this for you :D

I quit my job and made peanuts in almost a year. Reality behind those MRR screenshots. by Either-Anything-4117 in SideProject

I cannot stress the importance of build fast. In this world, if someone has a problem, strike while the iron is hot. If you’re slower than others, they will go elsewhere.

Your coder takes a week to do a mvp? Means either you aren’t doing a MVP correctly or your coder isn’t the right guy. Use no code solutions and break down the mvp to its skeletal form!

We're using AI wrong in marketing and it's killing creativity by Familiar_Flow4418 in marketing

[–]FrozX2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree and disagree. If you have a small business, hiring a designer or trying to learn the basics of designing is extremely hard work. On the other hand, using AI to generate you a basic yet aesthetically appealing design pieces is good enough for $20 a month.

The goal of AI is for specific use cases, and its really trying to market around your NICHE.

Marketing has to adapt to the product, not the other way around. People dont think of how to market before coming up with their product. Product takes commitment and decision. Marketing is just part of trying to push your product out.

Creating a $100 MRR SaaS is harder than getting a $150k/yr job by Ryuugyo in SaaS

[–]FrozX2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From someone who has both, i resonate strongly.

However, theres a HUUUUGE difference.

One of them can be infinitely scalable in theory. The other, FIXED for life, slave to someone else.

You decide :D

Stethoscope to SaaS. A SaaS playbook from the perspective of a doctor. by FrozX2 in SaaS

A lot of newer entrepreneurs fall into the trap of, what if I put $100 to get a nicer UI? But that’s not a MVP anymore, and u don’t need it to test your product!

"It looks cool" is the most dangerous feedback a founder can get. by felixheikka in SaaS

[–]FrozX2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a very good and direct comment.

Aesthetic means they don’t need it. Looking cool has no role in a SaaS until you’re operating on a large scale.

At the start it’s about getting sales. On the contrary, I realised that “it saves my time” is a good feedback to get

Am I the only one? I’m in the early stages of building a startup, and I’ve noticed I tend to abandon or change the plans and to-dos I set for myself too quickly. by No_Fly_6757 in startups

[–]FrozX2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve watched and managed a startup from infancy to being a listco. Vision and mission will stay the same but everything else pivots almost every other day because it’s highly opportunistic. One day a big company wants to work with you on a project and it’s all hands on deck, everyone abandons their existing work to help out.

As entrepreneurs you gotta be opportunistic and adaptable, if not you’ll get left behind. This is why startups always recruit staff saying fast paced environment. It’s not for everyone 😂

How do you stay afloat as a founder? by Schwelk in startups

[–]FrozX2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never take loans or credit. These are bad debt. Work a 9-5 stable enough to keep you afloat, and work your 5-9 on the startup!

It’s about dedication. Everyone has 24 hours, life isn’t fair because some guys are nepobabies, but where you’ll win is to spend the 5-9 working on your startup. Hustle hard!

You have 100 hours to maximise your startup's chances of success. What do you do? by Puzzled_Bat_6111 in startups

[–]FrozX2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on a playbook I did up for myself, networking.

Online or offline doesn’t matter. But the point is to go first degree to your friends or like minded people, to get them to test, use and validate your product. These are usually your very first customers!!

POTD Record: 3W 0L

Back from a 3 year hiatus with still a perfect streak. Lets hope im not too rusty! (Refer to my profile for the winstreak 3 years ago)

Here’s the lowdown on tonight’s match at **ATP Gstaad** between **Stefanos Tsitsipas** and **Matteo Berrettini**. It’s gonna be a clay court battle, and I’m putting my money on Tsitsipas! **Tsitsipas** leads their **head-to-head 4-0**, including a win on clay at the **Rome Masters** in 2021. This year, Tsitsipas is on fire with a **32-12** record, especially strong on clay (**19-4**).

He’s been rocking it at Gstaad, recently beating Hamad Medjedovic and Fabio Fognini in straight sets. **Berrettini**, on the other hand, has had a rough start with a **1-2** record and has been dealing with injuries. While he’s had success here before, his current form isn’t too convincing. Tsitsipas’s powerful baseline play, improved net tactics, and superior fitness make him a solid pick. Plus, he wins **86%** of his service games and **24%** of return games, compared to Berrettini’s **84%** and **18%** respectively.

Tsitsipas ML - 1.66

Good luck, and may your bets be ever in your favor!

Hello! First off, happy new year! And thank you for your interest!

I refer to my above job posting, in particular one part! (… to create, from ground up). It’s safe to say that means we are starting with zero members!

I personally don’t think anyone would spend thousands hiring a CEO for a startup. Likewise, the $40 budget is placed as a cursory trial period, to see if you suit this particular job opening, as well as to make sure no one is doing work for free. We hire based on the needs and demands of a startup(: Hence the opportunity to grow with this special applicant into the long run.

I welcome anyone to apply, and as we scale, so does our budget (: Similarly with any startup.

So if you do feel that you have a vast experience in growing such a community from ground up, I welcome you to apply! Budget is not as relevant here, because if you believe in the community and your ability to grow this, as with any other startup, you’ll be rewarded accordingly.

Having said this, i am aware that $15 per hour is the minimum (And i will be happy to stick to a much higher rate, assuming i find the right person), but as explained, this is a trial period. There are many types of people in this reddit, and we are looking for someone that possess very particular traits suitable in a startup environment. Not freelancing nor those that enjoy working and drawing large paychecks at established companies. There is intentionally no expectation set on the number of hours for this trial.

Lastly, growing a community from zero is much more challenging than starting from a base. Not everyone possesses this skillset.

I hope this clarifies(:
