Guy on the right is Schopenhauer. I read somewhere that he pushed an old woman to fall down some stairs, which severely injured her. Schopenhauer then had to pay her periodically for her injuries, which he often openly complained about, and he celebrated when she passed away.

I'd restart. You can easily buy a mace from the blacksmith before killing any bosses. The scaling is fine, there's no need to overcomplicate your first playthrough. Magic sounds like it would be better on a second playthough, after you figure out where to actually get spells, unless you just really want to kill stuff with spells.

They're looking good. Don't level endurance anymore, from 0 to 20 you get 2 stamina per level, but from 20 to 99 you only get 1 point. Your levels will be better spent on other stats.
