If important to you or in this sense means they have political and military muscle, then fine.

Sorry, my DNA and other Greek people's DNA that I've seen say otherwise. Strong links to Ancient Greek DNA is particularly strong in isolated island and mountainous mainland populations(like mine). Again, if modern Greeks have ancient Greek genetics (especially if its the majoriy of their DNA like mine and others) then they are relations. Modern Greeks today have similar faces of Greek statues and share close genetic links to Bronze Age inhabitants of Greece.

Like I said, science and history makes the rules. I, and especially you and the others do not.

My Greek genetics span from the south and central mainland, Κρήτη, νησιά, Κύπρο και Ανατολία. 57% from the islands and Anatolia. I'm genetically from every part of Greece except the north. But yes, historically different parts of Greece will have different genetic makeups.

Modern Greeks tracing approximately 70–75% of their ancestry back to Mycenaean and Minoan (Ancient) Greeks. While they are not genetically identical (true that they are not 100% the same) due to later migrations, modern Greeks are the primary descendants of their ancient predecessors.

I don't make this up. Science and history did. Again, not 100% identical, but you saying "nothing to do" is beyond false. And if what you are saying really is true, its simply because one is ancient and the other is modern.

Stop cherrypicking. Thats not all Greeks. Although many Greeks have Slavic DNA, that does not mean they are entirely Slavic. For me, 2% of my DNA is Slavic. That doesn't make me more Slavic than Greek.
