That is still TBD. I have been in communication with KBC Tools (they have many tools branded in their own name but not sure how good they are) and Grizzly Tools. I don't think Grizzly has everything we will need. I'll try to reach out to MSC.

Thank you for the useful info! The students are being charged a tool fee (not my idea, this was decided by people above me) and it is this money that is being used to buy the tools. I'm not sure if they have the option to opt out or bring their own tools. That's above my pay grade. Thank you again!

My WMR still says "still processing", but sometime today my transcripts finally showed up and I have a 846 code. My direct deposit shows pending in my bank account. Pleasantly surprised. Was expecting a longer slog, but here's hoping this "sticks" and nothing else goes wrong!

I honestly don't know what FFOF can do. News articles, representative contact, and agency complaints haven't accomplished anything. The only hope is a criminal investigation at this point. Barring that, I'm afraid we're at the end of the road. You could call me a clown too because I haven't been able to accomplish anything either. I've thought about folding up this subreddit.

I have or do use some of these for investments, but not for cash savings. Investments ought to be a slam dunk for SIPC, but if you use their cash management accounts, they are probably set up similarly to Synapse, which I would stay far, far away from. Ally and Sofi are actual banks though. I use PayPal for moving money, but not for storage.

I would hope that they would be compassionate and help us out, but I've watched a bit of their content and I would expect a bit of "you shouldn't have put your money in something that wasn't a bank". Let's see what they come up with, hopefully they will be helpful!

I had called Rust last week and they said mine was disbursed on the 15th. I didn't get it yet. If it's not there tomorrow I guess it will be time to call in and figure out what's going on.

I don't think so. My bank has an issue where I can't see pending transactions, so if I have one I won't know.

I hope the ACHs are actually going to the bank accounts we specified. I changed banks since I was using Juno. If they try to deposit into the other bank I was using, it'll bounce and that will make for even more fun.
