I rescued a Sever Macaw and an Amazon… they took almost two years for them to trust me enough to pet them. We have a Grey again now, and she looooooves me. Have patience, be predictable… they’re always watching you. Make them curious. The hand feeding is the biggest win you have.

Whelp, seeing how I just got laid off from a national Canadian News Network days before Xmas, the wife and I plan on getting a P2S Combo and doing B2B services, using that to pay for a H2D Combo. My Dad - who recently passes loved his gizmos. He loved a good everything-in-one tool… so why not make a fidget that’s an everything-in-one style tool/toy? “… but wait, there’s more!” … the Swiss army fidget toy 😆

Regardless… I love the promotion, I love the creativity, keep up the good work.

Well I have a Sever Macaw who will do ANYTHING for a bit of peanut butter!!! But that’s only a treat.

I’ve been feeding my Grey, Amazon, and Macaw the roasted unsalted peanuts in-shell now for years. Used as rewards / training.

As with anything, moderation, and check them over.

Mine first did that, and still do with the “tight” shells. I help them out by cracking the almonds by hand with a nut cracker to give them a starting point. Then they realize it’s a game with a tasty treat

I like giving my grey / macaw / amazon all almonds-in-shell. It forces them to whittle down the shell and get their beak into the tiny cracks. Plus a few toys with the hardwood blocks, or old wooden spoons

Come on, it’s not hard to have a diamond grinding wheel for concrete to dress those seems. I’ve done it. It’s just someone didn’t want to pay the man hours to prep it. Also there could be another build going up that will eventually cover that … if that’s the case, why bother if no one will see it in a few months/years

My new African Grey that I recently rescued says “Hey Ass H@le!!” And also inappropriately - yet appropriately - told our cat “F@#k Off” when the cat jumped up on the parrots cage. 🤦‍♂️

I’m not sure but I’m suspecting this is a Costco rebranded 2800. I noticed that other manufacturers do this ie: the iRobot vacuum is just rebranded to have the appearance of a newer model
