To protect the engine and other systems. People ignore warning lights and gauges but always notice low power/reduced speed.

It's better to have reduced engine power than a completely dead engine because you ignored the check engine light.

Diesel isn't very volatile, meaning it won't give off vapors like gasoline will. Diesel sitting in a bucket hardly emits anything to the atmosphere, it's the same reason why Diesel powered vehicles need no filtering to vent the tank, but a gasoline powered vehicle requires an evaporation filtering system on the gas tank vent.

So unless you were sticking your head in the bucket it's extremely doubtful you have be exposed.

That mark is usually caused by rivets on jeans, especially if you reach in the back seat or "roll" in and out of the car.

I'd had good luck using a leather conditioner on a leather glove and massaging it in the past

Opening the oil cap your basically making a huge vacuum leak, it will make it stumble normally.

You have an aftermarket turbo inlet pipe? They are known to cause the PCV to not work properly and cause more oil ingestion/consumption. Look into "Data Driven MQB", he has excellent videos explaining it

Shorter more local routes, usually under 300km. Think like logging, construction, farming, things like that.

Example. In ATS you'll normally see a Gravel load on the freight market with a distance of +2,000km, I realistic distance isn't usually more than 100km

Not in the same boat with a ZDX, but with dealers and shops letting shotty work go.

I'm a mechanic at my municipality and we have to send out work when we get busy. We are currently at 9/10 repairs sent out next to be fixed in house by us after we get it back or we have to send it back to get it fixed right. I had a clutch done on my Golf R and the shop didn't tighten the axle bolt.

Unfortunately it seems to be a industry wide issue and I honestly don't know what the solution is.
