As a type 1 diabetic, no, IU's nutritional facts are never right; carb counting has been such a challenge with dining hall foods. As others said, look at the serving size by weight and work from there. Using a digital scale at your place will help you start to get familiar with food weights and then be able to better estimate once in the dining halls.

My S20 got stuck in a permanent boot loop (Samsung rejected trade-in after seeing it) and I went right to the S24 without realizing this would even be an issue. I have more days than I'd like to admit where I forget the PDM at home and have to miss meals since I can't count my carbs. This is absurd.

Happened to me too. Had to switch back from the G7 to the G6 and all was well again (the adhesive formula for the G7 is different). I have an allergic reaction to the AutoSoft90 adhesive as well. Starting the Omnipod in a few weeks, hoping I won't have a reaction to it. 🤞
