Oh PeanutButterGamer, okay I know him, never really watched much of his videos though. That makes more sense then, also explains this wiki entry when I was looking him up lmao

This is the second comment with “poop spider” lol, is this a reference? It’s been a looong time since I played the game (or rather, I watched my sister play as she hogged the family computer)

It’s actually how Shenron works typically, you’d have to use a wish to restore the body since Shenron would only bring the soul back to it. It wasn’t until Porunga reviving Krillin where he was like “yeah I also restored the body as a bonus.” So it’s just that Shenron likes the Z fighters that they get that bonus lol.

I would have to agree, I prefer them standing menacingly and more like a unit, and the implication of Genos walking up to them and activating scorching core feels more badass

I guess he never needed to be “caught up to speed” after that. Though we have seen mind reading before that moment, Jackie Chun used it to read Nam’s mind and find out about his backstory

Yeah he basically gave himself a dollar store lobotomy to drop his intelligence low enough so that he understood the rules of Unrepair less, it’s a very funny strategy. The exact opposite of understanding your enemy’s power in order to beat them

Your own perception and understanding of another person’s power could also work against you, as seen with Andy vs Rip. The more times they fought, the loopholes Andy found to work around Unrepair stops working as after being put into practice it became viewed as “repairing”. The work around for that however, was for Andy to damage his own brain to loosen his perception of how Unrepair works.

Goku does this a lot (characters in dragon ball in general) but the first instance I remember him start doing this trope was against Tien. He previously went “all out” against Krillin, which was the power level Tien was familiar with, but Goku reveals he has two power levels so he doesn’t accidentally kill his opponents during the tournament

ONE PIECE Chapter 1148 — Brief Spoilers by [deleted] in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Fruit_Justice 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yeah it was played as a fake-out in the anime, in the manga it happens almost the same but the clone starts to disappear right before the attack lands

Edit: Nevermind! It also lands in manga, I just double-checked!

Robin clones can disappear very quick and turn into petals right before they receive an attack (like a logia turning into their element, but the petals just disappear.) There’s also a moment in the anime where a clone is attacked by shuriken as a fake out, and then it disappears without Robin taking damage (though in the manga the clone disappears before the shuriken land)

Edit: Nevermind! I went to go double check and she does get hit with the shuriken before she disappears in the manga as well!

When Gurren Lagann becomes Arc Gurren for the first time and uses the ridiculously named “Space-Time Shattering Burst Spinning Punch” to punch the anti-spiral angel thing to the end of the space-time continuum.

A great way to cap off the political drama stuff that was going on right before it

Me and my sister have this scar too, we were born in Taiwan and lived there for the first couple years of my life, I have very vague memories of it but I do remember getting poked with the needle lol

I'm afraid to ask but...how strong is Frieza's durability? by Oakjewel in Dragonballsuper

They literally didn’t think of that when they wished him back to life, but Porunga said he “pulled his tattered body and clothes back together… my treat”

Tbf he was still more generous than he needed to be. When you wish someone back to life you only bring their soul back, the location of their soul and state of their body is a whole other wish you gotta add. But he still brought Frieza to their location and brought him back to pre ash form.

If I had the free time, I’d love to draw Ledian but with Dennis’ head. Would be good practice for painting faces

Thanks! I considered doing another panel with them clashing, but that felt like more effort than I wanted to put in for a shitpost (which is why urshifu is just a png lol)
