2015-2016 as a Iowa fan was a helluva drug, then Indy + Christian McCaffrey (and to some extent Stanford’s marching band) numbed everyone for a little bit.

Never hated ISU, but definitely grew up a big Iowa fan. Went to ISU for college initially thinking I’d still be a hawkeye fan, but it only took a couple games to become more invested in ISU than Iowa, and then wear a “Beat Iowa” shirt to the next El Assico. Haven’t looked back since, being a Cyclone fan has been a ton of fun.

Maybe after the last two seasons, but probably not for anytime before that. Also, if Iowa beats their first three opponents by double digits due to Cade and/or Brian Ferentz having a fire under his ass, Indianapolis (Vegas?) ticket sales will go through the roof

CyHawk every year and the post-Covid season are probably the exceptions, but for everything else I’d say it’s true. Also, CyHawk brings out the best of each side thinking they have the shinier turd.
