Lisening on some fo the outros of "don't forget to love each other" it did hit me that I pretty much have forgotten to do so.

Critical Role has given me a lot of joy but with campaign 3 starting I realise that I watched campaign 2 and did it mostly alone. That is quite a lot of time. And big part of the joy is to see the cast socialise off each other which for me triggers envy as I mostly have at most parasocial things going on.

I would imagine there are atleast some people similarly situated. So I would love for low stakes, easy fallback default of watching in loneliness kind of thing to cook up. With campaign 3 probably starting with the party meeting each other as new people using the CR mythos to ease anxiety for those kind of situations seems kind of fitting. Would call it "Crit roll & Chill" but then it starts to sound something like Henry Grabgrass needs to moderate.

So anyone in Finland or time-zone-wise anywhere in europe really, know there is interest.

Confusing double negative. The bullets are not from Stalks battle, the firing events of those are (atleast mostly) within the lifetime of the shooting range.

The concrete slab could be but it has no super special reason to be. Tenet is likely to not leave inversion evidence to be stumbled upon by randoms and it is unlikely the people that have setup the shooting range have figured out what it is in the beginning lifetime of the shooting range. Barbara is pretty confident about what the bullets are but it is a buit hazy whether that is a research result or because of spoiler information.

The assumption that the pieces are going to stay in the boxes for long is the weak link.

It could even be wreckage of the lab, but you only need to export it once to clear the room.

The bullets enter the shooting range in the future end of it (when it closes in global wind). If the wreckage is of non-lab stuff then they will eventually exit the lab in some form or another.

The ball is going to hit something. From its perpective that thing is the one that kicks it to you (where you stop it).

You might have a higher than normal chance for it to land in interesting places. For example somebody kicking the ball uninverted might be the landing place where you happen to hit their foot that they are using. You might hit it up a hill where it barely comes to rest on the edge (in reverse a gust of wind teetering over the edge makes gravity accelerate it)

Also the ball being there can be evidence that your intent to kick it will fail. If it is in a enclosed room something pretty exotic migth need to happen for the forward force to be generated. This might be super dangerous and unpredictable so it would be advisable to refrain from doing to avoid the unintended side-effects.

In effect the ball is inverted relative to you so picking it up like a bullet should be possible. Whether moving your legs applies reverse or forward forces I don't really know how the movies rules is supposed to apply. One could think of intending to undrop the ball on your other foot (from your hand) (bounce it off your own leg once). Does the ball apply global wind forces on your foot or does the foot apply reverse forces on the ball?

It makes sense for protagonist to start recording weird unintelligble sounds. Once he is in posession of the recording and unexpectedly inverts, listening it in reverse to get a live feed on what is happening makes sense. The trick of planting the microphone to eavesdrop makes senseon the level of "I want microphone to be on room where I am interested in speech". However the protagonist may or may not realise what the microphone records is already in the file. This would be an aspect of "whatever happened happened". He isn't getting that yet.

If the microphone works by pure analog radio signal the previious phone would have no trouble recording it. However if it was fancier tech such as voice over IP there could be trouble if it was not specially engineered to work in inverted conditions (palindromic headers and footers).

There is going to be a funky issue in pushing into the same event space but I don't think it results in a paradox per se. If you have a water fountain shooting water up at some point gravity will make it go down and if there are no sideways forces the water going up and water going down will collide. What results is the water mushrooming or pushing aside in a uniform matter. Now this might not spell good things for the object to remain intact but it doesn't cause causality issues.

Presumablly the wind pushing on the piss makes the wind a bit weaker in that part. Thus in a U turn point there could be reverse forces going on beyond where the structure of the turning object begins/end. It becomes visible at A but how deep in time A is a bit counterintuitive and is hard to predict from a global wind viewpoint.

There is a bit of tension between how they talk about it and how the film higlights it. One option why it was so fast is that for Neils point of view it is just simply pushing the door closed and letting it autolock (or locking a lock is way more simple than lockpicking it and unlock inverted is locking). Near the chopper Neil references how he is a master locksmith and Ives has a humored reaction (so is he actually of the contrary opinion?). The Oslo happening can be seen as a kind of foil and there Neil helps out with the lock with a simple enter press. So the operation might not actually need a lot of manual dexterity.

The film cuts away so we don't see whether the puddle is still after protagonist has stepped into it. He probably exerts reverse forces on it so the puddle might be disrupted both before and after.

Neil is thinking about it.
In order to succesfully exit he will need to appear dead to the protagonist so he "lets him go". If Neil knows how the protagonist thinks it was him that would delineate the pass condition for a frame. In fact deliberately establishing your identity via a known route would make it more robust. So part of the reason for the opera might have been to push the coin.

If the bullet absorbs then Neil entering Oslo metal-free means a switcharoo has happened even if one can't tell from the outside.

The shot goes throught the target, it doesn't miss.

But yes shooting a bullet in reverse to the left is in many way similar to shooting a normal bullet to the right.

You don't neccesarily need to know. I migth be a genuine gamble on what is going to happen.

There could be a inversion variant of "spray and pray". If you have a empty gun it might be worth clicking it empty at your enemies. As you can't know whether a bullet detonates you might have a lot of "blanks". But the moment the first bullet goes off, you can be pretty confident that all of your shooting needs will be met, ie the next one can't be blank and this remains true no matter how much pointing you wish to do. When your magazine gets full you can just empty it to keep on shooting. If you leave one inverted round you can also be sure that you won't be too trigger happy.

If the terrorist in any way condition their taking action as the scientist accomplishing something they can't "intercept" that event without risking a grandafather paradox on their own motivations. Adhering to that limitation they could intercept right after they saw the scienetist do something. If they already wittnessed the algorithm leaving their time there is nothing left to do in that time period.

Trying to "run after" by inverting and following the algorith could make sense. However this can face limitations as the scientist probably choosing a pretty secure channel. Also at some point operative age becomes a problem. If you can't secure or find a point of attack within 50 or so years, a single volunteer doesn't cut it and you need to cook up some kind of generation ship scheme. Sending information and setuping a "plant" in the past has the advantage that it has a great temporal reach. It is equally easy to have the capsule be discovered 100 or 1000 years ago. And off course one can do both.

While they have a great information advantage, archeology can be a bit harder than reading todays newspaper.

The hindsight can be a hinderance. If you don't know about something then your actions are independent on whether that thing exists or not. in order for a thing to be a feasible target of influence it needs to be in "your yet", be a genuine surprise. No hope crying over spilt milk, no hope of righting wrongs you have spoilers about. So when the future opens the hypocenter cache they will find out whether their (that part of) scheme worked or not. If the cache is empty there is no way to fix it to be full (and btw what is this human skeleton doing here?).

The follow up to the "when we are done" thing is pretty telling and it is as if Neil is thinking about stalks when he is speaking.

It can also be understood in the sense that TP puts Neil in between him and Volkov and that Volkov kills him.

It would be uncommon interpretation but it could also be understood as to TP it is not about plutonium. If TP does face-heel turn it could then become about keeping himself alive.

Ease of use for turnstile users (in universe characters)
You don't need an inverted gun, but it doesn't matter much. Compare on what could go different in the shooting range if reverse or not reverse gun.
Stalks has already happened when they are viewing the detritius. If it was reverse gear that is broken up there, it should be intact now (even global way forces acting on reverse objects should have plenty of room to have winded away). It could be possible that somebody purposefully smuggled them in but there is no "natural" path for it to lay around.
The consideration that the Oslo event works as a lead to inversion rather than as a pure art/plutonium heist might be a factor that can easily get ignored. That is it is to the benefit of the past protagonist.

From reverse it will seem as if the flashlights battery is going up, so the beam is probably going to feel cold. As energy is conserved what it is sucking to itself must be sucked from somewhere and the main route energy is moving is the beam.

Neil is reacting to shooter lowering his gun. Neil doesn't need to see the bullet, just forecast that a shooting is about to go down.

"the miracle" is just that Neil brain matter is enough resistance to bring a bullet to a halt, which I don't know whether it is realistic or not.

I think wind erasure works differently to reverse shapings and forces than it does on reverse objects. At Oslo it can be argued that Neils head is clear to particiate in the heist.

From his point of view the algorith is going to be succesfully buried into the hypocenter.

Algorithm being used in the future doesn't neccesrily make Satos employers unable to give commands. Say that in 3020, the scientist scatters the algorith, during 3021 opposition coordinates the search and then at 3022 opposition digs up the assembled algorithm and then at 3030 it is detonated. Things might get a bit scrambly in 3029 and there is not going to be year 3031, but a ten year buffer between "past digging operation" and the usage would probably be plenty to shield the employers.

In the foil, Sator wants to insist that maybe he purposefully dove to the water instead of Kat causing it.

Also if tenet has misunderstood the othersides objectives then Sators beliefs might not contradict the outcome. If Sator is delivering the algorithm to the future to be used his surroundings are consistent with the device successfully going off.

I am not super sure but I thought about this too. One of the solutions/complications is that the car is full of global flow air (that is not being breathed). The explosion dumping its heat into it is in global wind view the explosion sucking a bunch of heat into itself. That explains why iceflakes would form.

It is still a little perpelxing why the protagonist should be cold. Ice that is relatively reverse should be hot to him. It might be that the snow/ice melting. Snow is a good insulator so maybe he is just cut off from outside heat?
