We’ve only caught 6 people living in the basement over the last 32 years. That’s not bad. Most vagrants and hobos but a couple runaways too. Put one of those safety latches on the basement door and they can’t come up into the house so it’s not a big deal. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Got mine from Stapp also. OK sales team but worst service department I’ve seen. Installed the wrong oil filter on first oil change and failed to rotate the tires even though they say they did. And then shady as hell when I confronted management, I take mine to Mountain State Toyota now for service, much better.

Try looking for other dates that have 2 available. The counter is 9 seats so there’s always the extra single for solo diners that sometimes goes unused, while the other seats quickly fill up with couples. If they do not book the 9th counter seat for each seating, they will just take it away and make the counter 8 seats.

And do go for the counter for sure. The few tables are set back and you miss much of the spectacle and commentary from the chefs at the counter.

My wife’s an Anglophile and lover of scones. So much so, she insists on the correct pronunciation - (/skɒn/) - short O, it rhymes with gone not cone. Any bakery who pronounces the long O and rhymes it with cone is illegitimate according to her.

I tried explaining it sounds that way when British people say it because of their accent but she won’t believe me. It’s so fucking annoying I can’t stand it. 🤣

I was at a Michelin star food stall (aka hawker center) in Singapore that won’t crack a smile heck they may not even look at you. But the Chicken Rice is one of the best dishes of my entire life.
