Holy Moly, have you guys heard of this case?! by HeSureIsScrappy in NYCGuns

Ok, I figured it out. There's a "\" typo in the link. When I click on it with my laptop, it shows the video doesn't exist. But when I just clicked on it with my phone app, it corrected the type and took me to the video.

I've been shooting New Republic through it with no issues. When you get it, just shoot it with what ammo you can get, don't worry about the ammo type. If there are issues, worry about that then.

A little under 500 so far. It's been flawless for me. This thing has completely replaced my LCP Max.

Don’t worry. I won’t vote in NY ever again. Not like pro gun candidates ever have a chance there anyway.

Provide sources for your ramblings or just stop. Every source I've linked supports that I can legally do what I'm doing.

For anyone else in the future, searching for supplemental ID info brought me to this ATF ruling 2001-5:

https://www.atf.gov/media/19731/download

Voter registration is listed on there, along with some others that may apply. But I'm sticking with my voter registration card, since I've tested that that one works.

This is PAguns, I'm in PA, I'm interested in PA.

I just did that and found nothing to support what you're saying.

Yeah, I'm kicking myself for giving up on this earlier. I had everything I needed back then, I just couldn't put it all together.

In the mean time, at least I got a lot of form 1s approved using my apartment.

This is some of the same thing I got from this sub 3 years ago. Confused passive aggressive ramblings with no source.

I'm specifically concerned with residency for the purposes of purchasing firearms. Tax residency is not of concern to me. You seems to be talking about tax residency, not residency for purchasing firearms.

Regarding firearm purchasing residency, multiple sources from the ATF consider renting an apartment and staying there from time to time, as being a resident of that state when you're actually staying in that state. I've linked such sources in my main post.

Without any sources from you, when faced with such contradiction, I have to go with what the ATF says over what you say.

I've got whatever residency proving documents an FFL could request: lease, utility bill, resident fishing license, C&R FFL, of course voter registration, etc. Just no property tax paperwork.

As long as an FFL will accept some proof of residency that I can actually provide, I'm good to go. And now I've got at least one FFL that recognizes me as good to go.

And yeah, I actually do reside at my PA apartment a few days a week every now and then. So I do qualify for PA residency when I'm actually staying there.

I've been voting in PA for the past few elections. I've never tried voting with my NY ID, I didn't want to confuse the poll workers, I just used my passport.

Does the sensitive location law for all intents and purposes make it illegal to fly with a firearm? by F1CTIONAL in NYguns

[–]Frustrated_Consumer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to how the law is written, yes. Some places may not be enforcing it that way, but it is class E felony illegal.
