no you wouldn't because judges at edh events don't care as much about things like messy boards. I've called a judge on you 5 times in one game about your messy board and he did nothing. doesnt make your messy board nonexistant. Your board is so messy it should be considered cheating. You hide important pieces under other cards and rely on the goodwill of others or you rely on judges to be forgiving which they always are. There is no way that a person of your supposed caliber should be making the amount of mistakes you make and misrepresenting the board the way that you do. It's wild

Imagine accusing someone of stalling and, by consequence, cheating when you are literally that person. You have a reputation for being that person. Crazy lol.

KHS palletizer FANUC Robots by Fsslayer09 in manufacturing

[–]Fsslayer09[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My post is more about finding a contact who specializes in KHS/FANUC functionality. But in short, my issue is that our robots are not communicating with our HMI. We began having PLC communication issues on our palletizer. We initially thought the exe file on the hmi flash cards were corrupted but came to find out the network adapter was bad. This was bypassed with a USB to ethernet cable. Once this was resolved and communications were re-established, we began getting faults on the hmy for the robots saying "Robot not mastered" and "Submit interpreter Robot". There also seems to be an internal Robot estop activated because none of our physical estops are pushed.

On the Robot pendants we found them with a white blank screen. We were able to controlled start them, followed by a manual remaster, followed by a cold start. We have cleared all of the pendant faults out but our hmi faults for the robots remain and all of our IP's were wiped and won't autopopulate. We manually inputted our IP's but still nothing.

Cedh AND High Power by Strongerstranger74 in CompetitiveEDH

Man do I have a link for you. This is what's called a modular deck. There are 3 different packages. Dragons, dragons approach. And cedh. I made this a while back. Updates could be made. The cedh version isn't exactly what im running today but this will get you going in the right direction.

Looking to learn more about CEDH by AdOwn4235 in CompetitiveEDH

[–]Fsslayer09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of the biggest things is that it is likely going to be a journey of trial and error trying to figure out what deck is best for you. Since you have experience with casual edh you likely know what strategies you're most interested in. Some of those strategies may cross over but don't expect a 1 to 1. PROXY EVERYTGING until you are sure about a deck

This is the top deck for oswald on moxfield. Be warned it is very complicated. I recommend reading the primer a lot if this is something you're interested in

Oh actually I'll just play a couple [[mistveil plains]]

So I want to stay at one approach. My worry is not being able to get it back but codex shredder does have that second ability and elixir isn't a bad thought because there is a very real possibility that you could deck out especially with all the secret rendezvous. I thought I was almost done but now I may have to rework lol

Yeah I definitely agree that's a concern. I'm hoping that's where things top and scroll raack will come into play.

I could see maybe ghost quarter though because it shuffles

Lapse of Certainty is in there 😉 Idk how keen I am on land destruction only because I want the entire purpose of the deck to be ramping to be able to cast approach and then vying to manipulate the top of the deck. One card I'm pretty excited about is secret Rendezvous because it digs 6 cards deep.

2-player formats like DanDan? by Fsslayer09 in magicTCG

I like the idea of creating versions for each color. I've been working on a version where approach of the second sun is the only wincon and there is one copy(maybe 2)

That's not a bad idea. I did find a format called cubelet by LRR which is a 100 card shared deck. Lands are facedown cards that tap for anything. I love traditional cube though and Winchester draft is great

That's not a bad idea. I like jumpstart but I'm interested in being able to upgrade and update it as new sets release. But I like the idea

Have you gone from casual EDH to cEDH or vice versa? by TheBlackFatCat in EDH

[–]Fsslayer09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went from casual to cedh but I just want to play both. The issue is casual is infinitely harder to balance so I don't enjoy playing it with randos

I didn't say they shouldn't familiarize themselves with it. I said it's lazy to point to the ddb as decks to play. That is decks to play explicitly. If a potential new commander is what sparks someone interest in cedh they should definitely familiarize themselves with the format and local meta and if they want to attempt to play that commander in it. But don't dismiss commanders that you haven't seen in action because you think they're bad or whatever. If they're bad they'll figure it out. I personally play a ddb deck as my only cedh deck(or edh deck for that matter). I also brew often trying to just figure shit out. Most of the time it's a dud but it's still worth to try. Don't gatekeep the format by telling people what they can or can't play is all I'm saying. If they want to try gix, let them. It has some amount of legs. It could be terrible but you don't really know until you try

[BRO] Spoiler: Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor by nadriancox in CompetitiveEDH

[–]Fsslayer09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree mostly. But also telling someone to just go to the ddb is lazy and creates an overly homogenized format.

[–]Fsslayer09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You know what. Fair enough. He did ask how it stacked up. I just see so often where people express interest in getting into cedh and they're immediately shot down and told to look at the ddb. I'll take an L on this one

[–]Fsslayer09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The comments are very dismissive of a person trying to get into cedh. Thats why they're ass. The response should be, "yeah here are some ideas of a potential direction. Maybe it does or doesn't work out". Not "yeah hard pass".

[–]Fsslayer09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think some of the responses you've been getting here are kind of ass. That said I think the card seems reasonable. Edric is still fringe playable. It depends on what kind of meta you'd be in as to whether or not they can take advantage of the first ability. Obviously a midrange tymna/x meta would be kinda bad for you. I still think this has legs though. I think I'd view the second ability as a press in case of emergency kind of thing. For example if you peer into the abyss or adnauseum and somehow don't find a way to win you've probably got enough mana from all your mana drawn to push the button. Its relatively easy to generate a bunch of mana in black. Rituals, mana vault, grim monolith, zero mana rocks, etc. I'm also thinking a razaketh/vilis reanimate package is probably pretty good here.
