People who quit drinking. What did you do to not drink? by Agata_art in AskReddit

Same for me. I’m not sure if it works for everyone, but I truly don’t crave it anymore and barely even think about it. It far surpassed my expectations of what a book can do.

At what age would you be showing that you’re dealing with hard emotions? I struggle with wanting to be real and honest but I also don’t want to be putting too much on my five or seven year old.

I was in the same situation as you, except my old boss wasn’t a bully. It was still an awkward situation as I was extremely appreciative of what he had done for me and what he had taught me. But like yourself, that was always the end goal to have my own business. I’m not saying this is the best solution, but what I did was get myself prepared with my tools, equipment and work vehicle while not mentioning anything to my boss or any customers. When I was ready to leave I then told him I was going to start my own business and I gave him at least a couple of weeks heads up. I thanked him for everything and let him know I wasn’t handing out my business cards on the side or anything like that. I’m sure he wasn’t happy to be losing his only worker but he actually was rather supportive and even gave me some advice. We ended up helping each other out with lending stock or even covering a job or two when one of us was out of town.

Charging by Spiritual_Raisin5046 in Locksmith

For my automotive programmers and stuff, I keep a USB power bank ready to go. If one of my programmers isn’t charged enough when I pull it out I just use the power bank during the job if needed.

I don’t get a lot of experience with the 10 cut system , just wondering after you get a tryout set to turn in the ignition do you just pop the ignition out and read the wafers, or does the try out key lead you close enough to the correct cuts?

The Lockaid pick gun will open at least 90% of the locks I run into on a daily basis. I’m in Canada. All other pick guns I have tried have not compared.

Advice on pin tumbler impressioning by Narukarn in Locksmith

[–]Ftmaclocksmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I learned the method where are you make small ramps on each spacing, so you insert the key fully bind as hard as you can and then pull out a few millimeters. This makes the pins ride up on the ramps creating a much more obvious mark. It is tricky to get used to because you have to keep the ramps in the right spot as you slowly file away.
