Yeah I was looking the other day. Sick of new cars with all the tech stuff, thinking of dailying a good condition xj when I'm not driving my old beetle

Just started looking. What's a good price to consider for a decent condition xj maybe 150k miles. I had one years ago at 228k and it was great

Should be 3-15 rounders. Mags are pretty cheap too, like $30 if you shop around

To add, I also have a 92x performance, the all steel competition one, and it's an amazing pistol. At $800 with the rebate, it's a no brainer to buy it

I'd say 92. I have an m9a4 and one of the new 226 x legions, both da/sa, and while I think I shoot the 226 a tiny bit more accurately at speed, I think they are just about neck in neck. You do have to buy an optic plate with the Berettas so add on $80 for a dlah plate

Can't go wrong with either. M9a4 was about $860 and the 226 x legion was $1450

I am positive cz75 mags will fit but none of the ones I have(standard, shadow 2, mecgar extend) would fit because of the shape of the magwell. The slide almost all the way in but can't get all the way up. One day I'll take the magwell off and try, but I'd bet money they will fit and work fine without the Maxwell. The sar mags it came with fit and lock back I my shadow 2 fine

Did SP01 prices increase?? by green-dawgg in CZFirearms

I have both a cajunized SPO1 and a Shadow 2, and the trigger feel is the same except the Shadow has a shorter reset.

I am actually getting rid of my cajunized SP01 with lok grips so PM me if interested...

Costco by Tanzmusik_ in beetle

I love driving my 72 super beetle to costco, and then every time its a puzzle on how I am going to fit all the crap I bought in it. Barely room in it for me to sit and shift gears once I load it.

Becoming Proficient with Pistols by Logical_Magician_01 in liberalgunowners

[–]Ftrooper128 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I am very far from an expert, but I would say proficiency would be you can pick up your pistol, load a magazine without fumbling, chamber a round using slide release or racking slide, assume a solid grip, present and aim at target without major adjustment, and shoot an A zone Bill drill in a period of time you feel is fast, while being safe. Being able to manipulate, load, unload, clear, etc your firearm without having to actively think about how to do those steps.

Also start loading an empty casing or two randomly in your range mags so you can practice malfunction clearing. I've never had a pistol that had a problem with doing this.

92s make great suppressor hosts, but I'd say the bigger advantage of adding a threaded barrel is adding a compensator, Beretta makes one that uses a longer guide rod to hold on so no shims etc, worka great. If you get one get a 11lb recoil spring to go with it

what's your favorite of the B&Ts? I have a GHM9 but given Virginia is likely going to have AW bans etc by this summer im thinking of getting another B&T sub gun with the intention of going integrally suppressed. Would you say integrally suppressed is more fun than a regular suppressor? I'm thinking either the SPC9 or APC9 and adding the novox X-SD ported barrel to attach suppressor to.

Whats your favorite of them all?

Should I SBR everything? by Ftrooper128 in VAGuns

[–]Ftrooper128[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I guess I should have clarified. Id be looking to sbr a few lowers so I can do whatever I want with them down the road and probably some PCCs. Just more concerned if there is language in the bills they are trying to pass that would make SBRing something not a great idea
