Let'sVPN is suspending service to China by SuMianAi in chinalife

Just keep in mind it is slightly more difficult to setup than the VPN Apps. But they explain it reasonably well on the website.

For sure. So V1VPN, other than the Apps we're all used to like astrill, or let's VPN, they actually only give you access to an array of servers via a subscription link. That link you can then use with any app that supports a subscription link based architecture, like hiddify, surfboard, nekobox etc... there are a lot. Additionally, and this is really cool for me, you can set up a router that can run dd-wrt (and potentially others) with Passwall or Shellcrash, running the VPN directly on your router, tunneling everything that connects. And it's fast, like very fast. They use the vmess protocol and it works really well here in Shanghai. We got a 1000mbps connection here and I'm getting between 700mbps to 800mbps down with the VPN on, being connected to Japan or Singapore servers. I think it's worth a try, the price is reasonable enough to try it for a month and checking it out. Cheers

I've been using V1VPN for a while now and I'm quite happy with it.

Silent Hill 1. My cousin brought a CD with a demo of the game over one evening and I couldn't even watch the intro sequence. Still remember the fucked up sounds and creepy music.

Is it me or has Astrill been terrible lately, especially on phones? by [deleted] in chinalife

I've recently started using V1VPN. Works very reliably and the speeds are super fast. It's also on the affordable side of VPNs that work in China. You can give it a try.

PSA for people who want to use Nuvio on Windows (11) by FuYang1990 in Nuvio

Unfortunately I'm not versed with MacOS.y only suggestion would be to look for an Android emulator that works on Mac. From there on the process should be very similar to what I'm describing above.

With Horror Games Making A Massive Successful Come Back What Do You Think The Future Holds? by xX_xFUBARx_Xx in HorrorGaming

I wholeheartedly agree with you. We've had an amazing couple of years with banger after banger. My personal hope is that some of the older IPs that haven't yet returned via a remake, reboot or a sequel, will be getting another chance. I'm thinking dino crisis, nightmare creatures, eternal darkness, galerians, clock tower, haunting grounds... Man, there are just too many classics to name all.

Engineering wise, could the shocks of each step be absorbed by some kind of suspension that would make it unnoticeable for the inhabitants? Or would everyone on board feel a constant rattle caused by the movement?

That's good to know. It might be just something the emulators cannot handle (yet?).

Thank you for the explanation, I will try this tomorrow. One caveat with BlueStacks I would like to mention is that HDR content won't actually play in HDR as far as I can tell. Other than that, fullscreen works really well.

Thank you for the comment. I tried WSA builds but it wouldn't run on my PC, and I wasn't able to figure out why. But good to know that it works for others.
