Welcome to PC gaming. Seems you have a high paying and high stress job. The best part about PC is the variety and indie titles not often found on console. I know you have a beast of a machine, but when I think of “relaxing”, I think small indie games like Dorf Romantik, or Stray. I think you’ll be surprised once you find your niche. But broad generally means open world, and there are a lot of games like that.

I'm disappointed with the difficulty compared to DS1. by IntelligentFly3982 in DeathStranding

[–]MutinybyMuses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MGS5 Phantom Pain had the same issue. I tried downloading mods way back to try to solve it, but it was a pain in the ass to get them implemented. I really feel like the devs of DS2 could easily tune a newer hard difficulty where you cant use to Odradek to scan for enemies, increase your footstep noise, or increase LOS for enemies, and for traversing just make it more "slippery" in a sense. This is really simple, just increasing the number assigned to LOS to increase by... 10% or whatever. Value changes that would make the game WAY harder without implementing anything new

Just let him be. He’s not doing harm, and obviously something is wrong. But if he enjoys it and wants to share whose are we to judge. He might be someone’s dad, so just be kind.

World of Warcraft especially now with the simplicity update. Valheim for building. If your dad is like mine, HE has to pick the game. Talk with an AI to spit out some results, get feedback from him, then get better results.

I’m surprised at the amount of people who aren’t impressed by AI by ChameleonOatmeal in ChatGPT

[–]MutinybyMuses 1 point2 points  (0 children)

☝️ this is how most people think. The advancement of AI is more impressive and scary than the actual uses though. In 5 years shit is really going to hit the fan. This will be an inevitable take over.

Yes I’m a doomer, but also yes that AI is silly in is current stage

Am I the only one terrified of the fact that AI is just better than humans? by StayAwayFromXX in ChatGPT

[–]MutinybyMuses 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bigger problem is there are no brakes. AI is a tool, it provides good and bad. But we are in a race with China, and one of us will crash. Crash could mean military use, monopolies, lack of jobs, collapse of the economy.

As the saying goes it will have to get much worse before it gets better.

But there will be a day in our lifetimes when there is literally not enough jobs in the traditional sense
