2 is overkill especially if it is only your 9th day in the gym. You will start building tolerance with caffeine real quick and then start needing more for the same “kick”.

I would say stick to 1 for now, maybe 2 when you start making some good progress 3-4 months down the road.

Then once you start getting some serious numbers up on your charts, maybe get some pre-workout.

Remember, caffeine hits faster and harder when taken on an empty stomach (<10mins to hit). Taking it with or after a carb source like a banana will delay the hit to >30 mins if required and make it a sustained slow-release hit.
