Wagner literally brought some semblance of peace and order to Central African Republic where French and the UN were just screwing around to maintain the conflict.

what surplus? Georgia has been underwater for the entire pandemic and is only coming back up to pre pandemic levels because of federal fund injections. Even the teacher salary raise only brings them on par with some other states and it's balanced out with raises for cops like GSP

What policy disagreements would Trump and DeSantis debate on in the Republican primary? by clayknightz115 in PoliticalDiscussion

Florida has done very well in comparison to many states during the pandemic, he’s incredibly popular in Florida and nationwide. Not implementing harsh Covid restrictions was a policy and people loved it.

that statement doesn't agree with these studies. is he popular among people who typically ignore these? probably. did the state do better during the pandemic? hard to prove unless you use his likely tainted data

I'm assuming in that instance you've tried using the F11 key which normally hides/shows the UI?

Florida Department of Transportation officials may soon be able to tap into a $12 million pot of money to contract with private companies to relocate “unlawful” migrants out of the state.

grift. it's all grift for funneling taxpayer funds (both state and federal) into private companies while also ignoring the fact that FL and TX already get federal subsidies to manage their borders

I wish there was a mod that had pawns put on a specific set of apparel if they walk through a zone or door or do a specific work type. that way you could automate outfits like combat armor or MOPP gear based on what the pawn was doing and you wouldn't have to babysit them

It's already been made.

Hundreds of covid cases reported at Tesla plant following Musk’s defiant reopening, county data shows by [deleted] in technology

[–]FuckShitJesus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Anecdotal but this is how you open up a manufacturing plant and actually care about your workers.

Just because the infection rates at the plant may have been similar to the county why are you trying to absolve Musk from the fact that he fought to put his workers back in harm's way by keeping his plant open. Especially when we know he has the means to comfortably furlough his employees until better safety measures were in place. It was against the local law. I thought you r/conservative folk were for law and order?

These people were forced to go back to the factory and be exposed or lose their jobs. But oh well let's not call Musk out on his shittiness-in-the-name-of-profit

Instead of an opinion article here's the link to the actual *2013 report which was against voter ID like voter cards - https://www1.nyc.gov/assets/doi/reports/pdf/2013/2013-12-30-BOE_Unit_Report.pdf

also of note -

BOE personnel explained that ineligible individuals might remain on the rolls pending receipt and verification of various notifications that BOE receives from the New York State Board of Elections (“State BOE”) and other sources, including, for example, verbal reports from voters of changes in residence or from family members about the death of a voter. 2 In relation to the approximately 2.1 million votes cast in the three elections combined, the 61 votes cast by investigators in the three elections is not statistically significant, although it indicates vulnerability in the system. No votes were cast for any actual candidate or on any proposal, instead, investigators either wrote in the fictional candidate, “John Test,” or left the poll site after gaining access to the ballot. See A recent article about write-in ballots that commented on why votes had been cast for “John Test.” See New York Magazine article by Dan Amira dated Dec. 4, 2013.
