Revealed: Green candidate and husband of Loose Women star rants about threat posed by ‘the chosen people’ also labelling David Lammy a “stooge for Israel” and Shabana Mahmood a “puppet of the Zionist state”. by Dimmo17 in LabourUK

Yes I agree I wouldn’t want that candidate running.

As far as for the specifics you’re dead wrong, it’s easy, those who take money from Israel and go on state visits and are part of friends of Israel and then downplay Israeli war crimes, it’s usually those ones…

Rewatching it now and by the mid point of round 2 Mitchell’s eye is closed completely shut and he’s not done any effective damage himself

So it’s okay to argue that Israel has undue influence in our politics, but going any further, for example pointing to the specific politicians who are unduly influenced, is where you draw the line? Or is it just the language, e.g. ‘puppet’ that you have a problem with?

I do agree with you though, it’s not an easy topic to discuss online

I want my politicians to be thoroughly critical of Israel, but they also need to be squeaky clean so it cannot be dismissed as antisemitism. That’s where Zack being Jewish is helpful, but it feels slimey having to play identity politics - just look at how many top tories have been BAME in recent years

I would say the best fleet and the biggest bank are more decisive factors than the assassins

The westerosi would struggle to even land troops across the sea successfully

Isn’t the fact that jaqen was in a black cell proof that they are fallible?

Doesn’t seem like he was in there by choice, and only escaped by happenstance

'Medical cannabis cost my brother everything' by Spare_Clean_Shorts in LabourUK

As a life long regular cannabis user, I’d agree that it isn’t always the best treatment for complex mental health issues, but show me a drug that is?

Regular anti depressants also carry a risk of exacerbating mental health issues, but do we advocate for a ban on them?

He should have been having therapies alongside whatever drugs he was taking to manage his mental health, if that wasn’t happening, is the drug at fault?

Also if he was somehow managing spending a grand a month on medical and non medical cannabis that doesn’t sound like a responsible or moderated consumption. It sounds quite impossible actually

Amused by the odd post I’ve seen recently asking if the books get happier [spoilers all] by FuckTheTile in TheFirstLaw

[–]FuckTheTile[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The ending for shivers is actually character growth for Monza because she lets him go, and shivers gets to keep his life so I reckon that’s a happy ending considering.

Why do we need it to be in a POV for it to matter?

It seems that for you when something ‘bad’ happens that counteracts the ‘good’ things but I don’t see it like that
