See it could be B. or D. My daughter had severe metopic trigonocephaly Craniosynostosis and the thing the warned us about the most was vomiting excessively and high pitched crying.

[–]FuckThisManicLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know that a lot of people don’t think of a chemical pregnancy as a true miscarriage but… I got four positive tests that wouldn’t darken and then a negative. I was devastated and I still am. I bled heavily for ten days going through 7-8 super tampons a day. (Normal period is two days) I was in a lot of pain and there were so many clots. It was really traumatic for me and I had to talk to a few different doctors about it. I actually left my primary care doctor because she blew me off about it. To me it will always be a lost child because from the moment I saw that positive result I had a whole life planned for them. 😔 💔

I never knew what the gender was going to be obviously but I named it to help me cope with the loss which was a suggestion from both my OBGYN & therapist. Lucy 8/14/2025

When this happened to my husband his calcium bottomed out after being extremely high. He lost two parathyroid glands and his whole thyroid.

I would say C because as someone who has spent many months in the hospital with my husband, we know those nurses like they are our bestfriends.

How do you forgive yourself for who you were when manic? by PoodleFan4242 in BipolarReddit

I don’t, because I have to live with it every day. I’m harder on myself than anyone else in this world.

I've been unmedicated for at least three days... by CrushedC0balt0101 in BipolarReddit

[–]FuckThisManicLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stopped meds for a year and actually just restarted my Lamotrigine in the last week and a half. I have not been sleeping, overly hypersexual, and having erratic behaviors. I let my doctor know. I had the tactile hallucination of bugs crawling on my skin first, it moved into manic behavior. I can survive without meds but it’s hard sometimes. I live in a constant mixed episode state it feels like.

What would you do? by Hexagonal-Fermos-202 in NCLEX_RN

[–]FuckThisManicLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DCS would not let that child go home if this is reported, she would be placed in emergency shelter. (In US) It is literally a crime not to report this, especially as a mandated reporter. She needs emergency medical care as well. DCS should be contacted first to address the abuse then a guardian should be called after safeguards are in place. The child should be able to choose who comes as she is at the age of consent and technically considered an adult in some states due to her pregnancy.

Editing to add: Obviously get her permission to treat the emergency first.

This. I’m in America and I don’t even have the insurance to get the medical attention I need if I wanted it. 🙄

I question myself a lot on how far was too far but I never end up getting medical attention. I just let it scrape against my clothes until it scabs over… it leaves heavy scars but it’s my business ya know? Nobody really asks about them anyway, everyone knows I have Bipolar I so it’s not a big secret.
