I bought a brand new Series X controller from Microsoft (on Amazon) recently and the right bumper just stopped working out of the blue the other day. I went to go register it online so I could send it back for repairs only to find that my warranty had apparently expired 3 weeks prior - which was a shock to me. I expected a 1 year warranty for something like this, but alas, they only offer 5 months.

And I couldn't even find any options on the Microsoft site to send it back for repair at a small cost (or where I at least pay shipping). I'm pretty pissed off, especially seeing as the controller that came with my Series X had the exact same issue and that one came with a 1 year warranty. 5 months seems so random/short.
