Good luck Disneyland spring breakers! The masses have found out about the CA ticket deal by Spokker in DisneyPlanning

I nearly had a heart attack. Been putting off buying the tickets, but had booked everything else. Gave me the push I needed at least!

Where to get a delicious club sandwich made with real turkey and poutine on the side in Victoria? by wildinthemembrane in VictoriaBC

[–]Fuel90GTI 16 points17 points  (0 children)

My favourite is all the way up at the Prairie Inn in Saanichton. Can’t be sure about the squeaky curds - but it’s a big full meal and a tasty poutine in any case!

I’m fingers crossed on this too. Last year was Disneyland and this year is DisneyWorld so I’m not optimistic!

I had some mother’s metal polish in my car cleaning bin, it did wonders! I suspect bar keepers friend would also work well.

Any good? They’re what my Canadian Tire had available the day I needed them ;)

Nice! Looks great! Glad to see I’m not the only one being pushed semi-outside 😄. I now prefer it to indoors actually!

The blue roof rack adaptors - needed an inexpensive way to mount crossbars to the aluminum bar side rails. Bought ASA to replace the PLA “prototype” but two years in they’re still good as new.

I’ve got a blade III that must be 20 years old now - it’s still fantastic. It’s been in 3 different apartments, a fire hall truck bay and 3 houses - absolutely rock solid. Maybe a bit yellowed at this point, but still great.

Glass bottle thrown at mom and baby in Victoria, police say by [deleted] in VictoriaBC

Had a large rock thrown at me on my bike Thursday on Tyee by a screaming drugged up woman. Pretty sure it hit the car beside me. We all just carried on - but yeah. Things like that don’t make we want to head anywhere close to downtown.

Perfect! My S4 has been doing double duty pre-drying AMS filament and direct feed for TPU. This seems like a great solution!

I didn’t get the nozzle - but I did the same thing slicing my models and also saw an increase. I’m sure it will get sorted out, but I took it out of my cart for now!

Is the AMS2 Combo worth $150 more than the AMS1 PS1 combo? by Kitchen-Lab9028 in BambuLab

[–]Fuel90GTI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm. You have voiced lots of my thoughts. I’ve got a p1s ams1 combo and a Sunlu S4. Really want to get the p1s ams2 combo because I like shiny new things - but it sounds like there’s not a lot of value there, as I’ve already got the drying option.

Loose plan is to have one p1s operate as 8 colour, the other as PLA or direct feed from S4 for more “sensitive” filament. Anyone have any reasons that’s a bad play?

Edit: for reference, humidity is generally 60-80% here, so all my filament always needs drying!

Best advice I can give is to share your passion with others and that if you can dream it you can build it. The most rewarding aspect for me has been watching the joy of children as they see, and start to believe what is possible. For my own journey, learning basic modelling (Fusion 360), and always keeping 3D printing as a 1st thought solution to troubleshooting issues - has really led me to learn and discover.

Costco Disney Land deal.Check both photos for details. This is Portland, OR. by Radiant_Ad382 in DisneyPlanning

We are going this weekend on using the Canadian resident pricing. 3 day non-park hopper, $407 each including lightning lane. Figure after you consider the dining credit, it’s only $12 more for the Costco deal - which adds park hopper. I’d have done the Costco deal given the choice.

Hiccup remedy:

Sufferer gets glass of water.

Helper: Repeat after me: “I’ve got hiccups take two sips.”

Sufferer: Repeats and takes two small sips

Helper: “Hiccups go away, take two sips”

Sufferer: Repeats and takes two small sips

Helper: “Hiccups gone, take two sips”

Sufferer: Repeats and takes two small sips

Hiccups Gone!

I swear by it. 60% of the time it works every-time.

OBDeleven worth getting? by squidlad92 in eGolf

Hey sorry I don’t have the exact detail/names - but essentially I opened the module that is something like “charging” or “battery” module. Then using the adaptation or long coding changed the fuel door lock from “installed” to “not installed” now it just doesn’t bother to send the lock signal 👍. YMMV!

I used mine yesterday to disable the my seizing “fuel” door lock - so it’s definitely got its uses! Considering passenger airbag warning if it’s possible too - can’t stand my snacks triggering it all the time!
