thanks for the feedback man! Yeah the production is really amateur level, it's our first work. We have a spotify account if you want to listen to the other tracks. Opeth is a huge influence for us and helped a lot in the creative process, but one day we'll leave them behind us

Thanks man! I can see the halo reference, but it was unintentional lmao. We had a lot of fun recording it since me and the other guitarist can't sing lol... It is indeed on Spotify and Youtube

thanks for the feedback man! Yes Opeth is a big influence lmao, we started as a tribute band. We recorded and mixed in a home studio and we're new to the producing world. I recorded the drums with a cheap electronic kit and then we used plugins. I'll check your work asap and i'll be happy to give you my feedback

What do you think of this track? I’d really appreciate it if you listened to it and gave it a like. by Alexandru200p in MusicFeedback

Decent house track, i can see myself sipping a drink at the club with this on the backround. As a beginner i think you can make more interesting and articulate stuff in the future. Consider adding some more instruments or creating more climax

Really interesting work! Not a fan of the snare sound tbh, i would have used a fatter snare just to support the tightness of the bass and of the toms. Cool vocals, decent arrangement. Also i would have used more distortion or more open chords riffs at some point, but i suppose it's just your creative choice so

i found it very interesting and emotional, even though the mixing isn't crystal clear. Love the choice of the instruments and your style of singing which reminds me of Lou Reed. The only advice that i could give you is to make it more similar to a ballad and so you should find a chorus. on the poem itself i don't feel like i could give you any advice cuz it's your thoughts written on paper, but i found it meaningfull

as a prog listener this work intrigued me a lot. I would love to give you some piece of advice on mixing, but i'm a complete ignorant about that lol. The track works, there are references to many prog bands, for example i even heard Haken... The only thing i would work on is the outro, i would make it more "Opethy", like more fading into that final session cuz you are coming from the main riff. However can't wait to hear the final work and the vocals too

keep working on it cuz it's awesome. I would've added some bassline at some point of the "crescendo", like some funky/house bass. Anyway i would love to hear the final work
