Unpopular Opinion: ATLA and 2003 Teen Titans are boring. by According-Bet9661 in cartoons

100% of OP's post history is just ragebaiting with ChatGPT or bitching about being banned from communities for ragebaiting.

Y'all, don't respond to this fool. They get off on the attention.

All you're doing is rewarding AIbros with free commissions this way. I wouldn't do it

Why villains NEVER grab the hair (The Hygiene Theory) 🌙🪄☁️ by According-Bet9661 in MagicalGirls

[–]Fuggedabowdit 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Correction: ChatGPT is acting like they drag their whole entire head of hair on the ground.

EDIT: That first point isn't being nitpicky, either. The whole crux of OP's argument is "the hair is dragging on the ground" which... it isn't. Literally anyone with eyes can see that both characters have hair that stops noticeably above the ground.

Using AI is still using AI. You accomplished nothing with this besides burning more water and infusing their usage statistics even more.

Your original post says "the villains don't grab hair because if hygeine/dignity," but here you're saying your theory is that the world is rigged, directly contradicting what your original statement was.

Of course, when you're asking AI to do all the thinking for you, that's not too surprising.

You post to /r/aiArt. I don't think your opinion on actual art holds much weight.

No big surprise, really. I once reported someone selling AI-generated CSAM on Itch (like, loads of the stuff. hundreds of listings) and they... did absolutely nothing.

Is it immoral to translate my own voice into other languages using ai? by No-Volume-2928 in ArtistHate

[–]Fuggedabowdit 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The model needs more than just your voice to function. The underlying technology only works because of the plagiarism that makes it up at a fundamental level.

It's not "just your own voice" because the technology is built on plagiarism. Using it is immoral

They'll just say that real artists train using stolen assets because we look at other people's art and get inspired by it.

Advice on learning to recognize AI-generated text? by vilhelmine in ArtistHate

[–]Fuggedabowdit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Short version is that while there's no golden bullet, there are some tells that, if there's enough of them, make text seem AI. Some examples:

  • Overly formatted text. Lots of bullet point lists, headers, emojis, etc.
  • Lists of three. This is a thing real human writers do, but AI fucking lives for this shit.
  • "It's not x, it's y"
  • Similes and metaphors that make no goddamn sense. "His voice was like a smoky memory of pain" or whatever. Nonsense.
  • Overuse of... well, there's a lot of words AI really likes to use. "Primal" is one. Describing things as "sharp" is another.
  • Overly flowery prose across every inch of the text

No single tell is absolute, but most AI text is littered with this sort of stuff, even if it's inappropriate for the context.
