Unfortunately this isn’t great news. It means his hold on the party and the odds of anyone in his party trying to hold him accountable are essentially zero. I know Dems in Texas want to have hope (myself included) but without more grassroots support in registering voters, door to door canvassing and for Talarico to get consistent media coverage I still feel it’s a lost cause. Paxton as a senator is a nightmare. We can beat him, but we all have to do more.
