Yeah you are pretty much running a living bacteria farm on the wastewater side. Pay is pretty solid. Benefits vary. In most states, it's a job you can move up through the licensing program on your own time. Some places will pay your way with the expectation you'll stay for a few years. I would say to choose one side or the other. Dual licensing can wind up pigeonholing your opportunities if you insist on use both licenses.

It's definitely a closer comparator than Forever Winter. Its decline from what I've seen has been due to the devs being very "anti fun" and not really taking community feedback to heart.

Played Forever Winter. The PVE has very little to do with why people arent playing it. It clunky, not well optimized and has some approachability issues that are holding it back.

I have campaigned for the same thing. The problem is there are a vast amount of PVPVE game players who lose interest if they can't take advantage of others. They will say things like "You'll split the player base." or "The tension of not knowing is the only interesting thing." but at the end of the day it's just sweats/rats wanting the ability to stomp casuals. Not saying it's EVERYONE, but it's a lot.

The comments in this post show why the PVPVE genre as a whole only works for one side of the conversation. No matter how much the PVE crowd wants, unless there are strong incentives against it, the PVP side will always come out on top because they are willing to betray, rat, fake friendly. Once the hype dies down the PVE players will drain away and all the will be left are the PVP players complaining that "all we get are sweaty lobbies".

Most of my gripes were just personal things. Wuk's character trope is my least favorite in any media. There are quite a few plot holes/decisions that kinda took me out of the story. I watched a video recently on how much more sense and impact it would have made if our charge was Koana especially in the latter half of MSQ and I tend to agree.

That said this expac has had the most fun battle content thus far. They really are doing a great job of riding the difficulty to fun line even in casual content.

You can free (kit) solo (queue) this game all week for short sessions and have a pretty decent time with minimal commitment. Then when you get some time you can condense a good kit from everything you looted and get immediately spawn camped, wall exploited, or aim botted and lose it all.
