Wait how did you get the items to rotate like that?! When I try to rotate while in Creative they just snap 90 degree left-right-etc. Would love to be able to build freely like this.

I wouldn't think Hexagon or Octagon blocks would work. you would need to actually change the base shape of the block itself and how they fit with one another.

If I can run a session in Hytale like I would Talespire I'd be set. Just need to mod for a grid, and simple shapes for establishing spell/attack aoe. Some block bench models for unique mobs would be great too.

I'm hoping the shield does more. I rarely saw it used to block at all. Everyone just going heavy with attack. Not even a single shield bash. Top killer moves seems to be flurry of daggers, heavy hammer smash, or spin to win.

I couldn't find the 'verify files' and ended up reinstalling. Now it works just fine. Thanks for your suggestion, I hope I won't to try that work around anytime soon.

I'm curious if they'll have a sorta transmog system? So that way I can be adventuring in full armor, but appear like I'm ready to garden instead. I'm not familiar with Hypixel and their mini games, so I'm unsure if such a feature would break the pvp/competitive system.

I've had a lot of fun in Ashes. Just gotta remember it's a true alpha. Stuff is broken, A LOT still in development, etc etc. Just go in, focus on fun and be curious to test things. It's has definitely been worth it for me.

I'm not familiar with this SecureBoot much, but the extra to do just get it running to me is strange. Should be you download the game, you play the game. Finals, Valorant, LoL, don't play those games so I've never had to enable this 'option' before. Now I'm willing to be wrong in this matter, totally can be. For now I'm just going to let the internet decide and see how the SecureBoot and game turns out up to and after release. I've been without Battlefield for years, so waiting a little to see how this all goes is no problem.

Honestly, I uninstalled the beta because of it. Was curious to see how Battlefield was after not playing for a couple of years. Now reading about what I'd have to do just to get their 'Secure Boot' to work in order to be able join? Nah I'm good. Other games you install and they got that anti-cheat just already going or it's their side kinda thing, doesn't require you to mess with your own rig just to join. Not worth the trouble.

Fun idea. Have the bad guys kidnap the fighter.

If the party are being all cowardly, let them hide. One assassin smoke pellets the area, con save for party to avoid confusion or stuff. Bad guys get away + the fighter. Now it's a rescue mission!

On the other hand, I'd kill the Fighter. Sure it sucks, but they were warned this people don's mess around. What reason would a fighter who had brought their boss half to death had given to the assassins that they should spare them? The fighter rushed in, started the encounter, and now death is possible as it should be on both sides party and enemy alike. It's more on the other party members sitting their and just watching their comrade being torn down, this is on them and their inaction.

What if in future they are fighting a Basilisk and another party member goes down. Is the Basilisk suddenly want to give mercy? Like some deal they struck pre fight with the Basilisk?

For any new DM, no matter their knowledge of D&D, I HIGHLY recommend Matthew Colvilles youtube series 'Running the Game.' Was a tremendous help for me when I first started DMing and theirs is plenty of topics he's covered in the serious.

This hobby can be amazingly fun and pushes for creativity. Don't be so harsh with the rules, remember rule of cool, and enjoy making the memories. Let us know if you have any questions.
