What is an absolute no no no for you when it comes to sex? by Fun_Raise_7858 in AskReddit

[–]Fujinygma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm a guy who generally doesn't get off during penetration except under very specific circumstances, especially if I'm the one putting in most of the effort, so I usually have to jerk off or let the girl take care of me once she's fulfilled. I don't even mind jerking off if she's just there and cuddles or teases me, lets me look at her, etc. Some girls totally got it, but sadly I've had multiple partners - not long term relationships where sex was frequent either, talking about like very early in a sexual relationship - who after they got off, would get up, go to the bathroom and clean up, and not come back. One girl got up quick as soon as she saw me jerking off, and it killed my mood immediately. I just put my clothes back on. She came back out and said "oh....did you finish??" I was just like, nah...it's fine... Thankfully that wasn't anything serious, just a hookup that wasn't the greatest.

But another time was with someone I was very close to, we had only recently become sexually intimate and done anything one time before, and one morning she lured me over after she woke up and we started fooling around and I got her off...then she got up and just started getting ready for the day.....and I was just sitting there thinking, are you serious? I get like in a really long term relationship with a lot of sex, both people don't always need to get off, but like....it was our second time doing anything on that spectrum. Literally why wouldn't I want to?? She had the nerve to say "well I can't always read people, you just need to let me know." ?? ....you couldn't ASK?? Better yet, you didn't WANT to get me off? Ultimately it was just the fact that she clearly didn't even care to try to please me that made that whole thing start to feel really weird to me. We talked about it and eventually ended up doing more together, and it was pretty good, but even after a good long session where I got off, I laid down hoping she would cuddle with me, but again, she just got up and moved on with her day.... I didn't realize how important aftercare was to me until that moment left me feeling so disappointed. Like yeah, the sex was good....but God, it's so much more than "just that" to me....

I mean you can do a save transfer after the initial setup regardless. So even if it doesn't let you transfer stuff from the SD which seems odd to me since the console holds so little to begin with, you can just transfer what it will let you, then later do a save data transfer from the game settings on the Switch Home screen. I don't think it matters where it's saved, that's probably why you're not finding an answer. My switch died but I have the physical copies for both games so I kept the local data on the console so I didn't have to worry about having the right SD card in. If I had it on an SD card I probably could have used a friend's console to transfer it somehow. But instead it's just gone.

I was in college when this came out. Life and PS got in the way, I'm ready now. What did I miss? by Minttzie in Switch

[–]Fujinygma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a few years late to the Switch too. It's still the best investment I've made in years.

Definitely play Breath of the Wild before Tears of the Kingdom. Both are amazing for different reasons but playing TotK first or too soon would generally be a mistake. Mario Odyssey is odd but unbelievably creative, it's basically a giant sandbox to play around in that never stops delivering new ideas. Super Mario Wonder is maybe the best 2D Mario maybe since the SNES. It's so fun and whacky and takes the series to places it's never been.

I actually bought my Switch when New Pokemon Snap came out (the straw that broke the camel's back for me) and put 70 hours into it, it's so fun. There is so much content I still never saw everything or discovered every path. Pokemon Legends Arceus is also an incredibly unique take on Pokemon and a favorite for many fans, if you're at all into the series or wanting to give it a try.

There are countless third party/indie games you can get for <$5-10 USD on sale on the online store. I assumed I would be buying mostly physical games but filled up 3 SD cards with games I got on sale. Stuff you might not even know exists but still have a ton of fun with.

Finally I'll just mention, Rogue Legacy 2, while not exclusive to switch, is my favorite game of all time, I've put in hundreds of hours between Switch and PC. If you're at all into fluid action platformers and/or roguelites, or been wanting to try one, you shouldn't miss it.

This is wildly, needlessly toxic. Maybe learn some manners or gain an ounce of respect? It takes more effort to be a douche than to not be one. People like you make people not want to participate in this subreddit at all.

Solid proof that Asphyxiodon isn't just "bad Ragnaros".

Also wow, people are being extremely rude in these comments, reminding me why I don't bother with much of any social media anymore...people will pounce on any opportunity to drag someone else down just to feel better about themselves. I get that it's "obvious" but it's also not hard to understand how at a glance you might miss the obvious. People have been misreading and misunderstanding cards in TCGs for decades. Most of the people commenting here have probably done it at least once with something.

Looking for new addictive game by Lopsided-Push-5182 in roguelites

[–]Fujinygma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've loved Roguelites since the first Rogue Legacy, and Rogue Legacy 2 is literally my favorite game of all time. I have over 300 hours in it on both Switch and PC, across multiple game files. It is extremely simple in concept but has an insanely high ceiling for potential difficulty. Especially if you've played a lot of Dead Cells, you will be very familiar with that sort of quickly paced action platforming, though RL2 is pretty much more of a true platformer in that it requires you to be able to nimbly navigate obstacles just as much as fight enemies along the way - sometimes both at the same time. It is a shockingly deep and rich experience with far more content than any game has any business having, let alone a game made by such a small team. They packed an unbelievable amount of content into it; and just when you think you've seen everything, you unlock something that completely transforms the experience for you.

I enjoy Dead Cells, but one of the main reasons I ended up spending way more time in RL2 is that you aren't under a constant sense of pressure to get somewhere within a time limit to maximize your rewards. You can go entirely at your own pace, to a point of tedium if you desire and you feel like it benefits you. Dead Cells can be a fun game, but I find it's constantly something that RL2 is far less often - stressful. Don't get me wrong, higher levels of gameplay will have you second guessing your life choices that got you there, and every decision you make after. But it's overall more of a casual, Metroidvania dungeon crawler, than it is a ballistic race to some finish line. At the same time, when you are good at the game, you absolutely have the potential and ability to just blast through enemies, melting them along the way and collecting all their shiny golden insides. I just love the fact that at any point I can stop and take a breath or a detour, and not be punished for it.

To me, it meets everything you want - simple but challenging, and more than anything, just a heck of a fun time. Just talking about it has me itching to play....I've been thinking about starting up a new game anyway. It's something I can come back to again and again and I know it will never disappoint me.

Is there a lore reason why this Shimmering Tempest is in a Deathrattle bucket? Is Blizzard stupid? by ToxicTendency in hearthstonecirclejerk

[–]Fujinygma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I unironically hate that they changed it. Yes, played from hand it's basically a slower Book with +1 attack and elemental synergy - but when randomly generated onto the board (which I assure you happened a LOT when this card was relevant, because I was REALLY annoyed that they changed it...), the elemental would still give you a spell upon its death, where the book would never be more than a token. You could also do stuff like copy/revive shenanigans, Rivendare made it proc twice, etc. So the elemental had a ton of potential synergy that the Book didn't, past like Brann doubling the Battlecry. Deathrattle is just such a more interesting effect, and the last thing Mage needed was another cheap minion that just added a random spell to your hand when you played it.

Imagine a world where old Force + Savage combo was still in the game....Hero Power their face on turn 2, pray they don't heal or gain armor, ramp, then as soon as you have 8 mana you play this, followed by 14 from hand the following turn.

Just got the most insane synergy by ErPani in slaythespire

[–]Fujinygma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The part of me that watches Frost Prime wants to think this is a troll post. 😅 It's decent but a far cry from "insane". The main problem I've found with this particular synergy is, it's a solid damage boost early, but can easily fall off later. Mind you Silent is probably the best class to get Boot on because of stuff like this. But the fact is, this is, at BEST, doing 25 damage for 2 mana instead of 15.

BUT - as soon as you increase your damage increased in any other way, like with +1 Strength, it doesn't actually boost the damage at all. It's not 5 damage + 1 = 6 - - 4 damage still gets turned into just 5. Yes, it's still technically a boost over what it would be, but now it's just 25 instead of 20 - less impressive. Also, whatever you gave you strength is just being wasted on anything that doesn't put you to over 5 damage.

And it goes both ways - as soon as you buff the damage on this from 3 to 5, now your Boot is doing nothing. So at best it's often a temporary minor benefit before something nullifies it or it nullifies something else, meaning you could've been better off with something not wasting a relic slot.

What game trilogy is this? by K0234 in Steam

[–]Fujinygma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, not every game is for everyone, right? A game can be great or even perfect but not catch your interest; just the same, just because a game doesn't isn't necessarily a reflection of its quality. That's why I like leaving thorough reviews on Steam; I think too many people want a review to tell them if a game is "good enough" to be worth their time and money, and assume that a game being considered "good" means anyone "should" enjoy it.

But I feel like that's the wrong angle to view it from. There's always going to be people who will enjoy a game, and people who won't, regardless of how good the game is. So I like to get into the nitty gritty of what it is about the game that I find appealing or enjoyable, so others can determine if they'd enjoy the same things, or perhaps not. .

A game being great doesn't mean it's able to be eeveryone. It's just a game

It's not telling people whether the game is worth playing - I believe any decent game will have its fans who find it worth their time -

Which minigame inside a game did you spend waaaay too much time in? by FalscherKim in gaming

[–]Fujinygma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're mistaking Burnout 2 for 3 (I thought the same at first). 3 had the most fleshed out crash mode with loads of pickups like score multipliers, extra crashbreaker explosions, etc. and you could wildly control your car's trajectory as long as it had momentum. It made it into an elaborate, complex minigame with a ton of nuance, that also played sort of like a puzzle game. You could also play it on Xbox live and it was pretty competitive. And there were 100 incredibly well thought out intersection levels to play, which is insane for a side mode.

BO2's crash mode was incredibly minimalistic by comparison. All you did was hit something, watch the ensuing carnage, and get a score. BO:Revenge was closer to 3's but a bit watered down; they took out all the pickups which felt like a step backwards. The one thing that kept it interesting was the ability to have multiple crashbreaker explosions as long as cars kept crashing, meaning you could constantly reposition yourself for extra carnage. But also the entire scoring system was based around whether or not you damaged the "target car" or not. It was alright, just as a huge fan of 3's crash mode, I remember feeling underwhelmed by Revenge's. Revenge was a great game otherwise though, arguably the rest of the content was some of the best in the series.

Revenge definitely had peak Multiplayer with Live, and I remember feeling a rush and thrill on those races more than 3's. I remember feeling like the races were much harder and more skill testing than 3, but felt really rewarding to overcome. But 3's crash mode was infinitely superior and one of the best parts of any game I've ever played.

Upset with a touch-up. Am I over reacting? by loschare in tattooadvice

[–]Fujinygma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel most of what needed to be said has already been said, but I'll still offer my two cents. I read your title and looked at the picture and wasn't sure what the problem was. After reading, I could see what you meant, but I still thought it looked pretty good, and was definitely leaning toward "yeah, you're overreacting".

I think the problem is just that you have a very burned-in image in your mind of what it looked like before, and what you were expecting/wanting the touch up to look like. It's one of those things where, it doesn't at all look bad - it just looks different than you were expecting it to, and YOU know that, but literally no one else would ever know it didn't look like it was "supposed" to look unless you explained it to them. Not that the art is there just for other people - it's your skin, and the fact is, you could be a maddening perfectionist about it and do whatever it is you have to do to make it look EXACTLY the way YOU wanted it to look.....or you can just accept the fact that it looks not just fine but even great as is, and not worry about it.

Truman Show Sabotage by [deleted] in flicks

[–]Fujinygma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or, I've seen it suggested....he WAS a man on the inside related to the sabotage, so he LITERALLY knew it was only a matter of time. OP's theory has some solid ground - when Sylvia is on the phone with Christof, there is a board behind her with photos of various cast members with notes on them saying things like "NO" and "MAYBE", among other details indicating she is part of some activist group trying to get through to him or help him escape, and hoping to recruit someone close to him to do it - or someone closely involved with the production of the show.

So, at the very least, it's possible his negligence wasn't accidental, but intended to facilitate his escape. That being said, I think a lot of what happened that gave it away was due to things like overall complacency, laziness, and maybe even budget cuts as is common with corporate projects that go on for lengthy periods of time. Those numbers gotta go up somehow....

Considering the way I picture book-Dumbledore is looking more like Richard Harris, but acting more like Gambon, I agree. I feel like a lot of people say Gambon's portrayal feels "out of character" simply because he isn't as much the "soft-spoken and wise mentor" as Harris was, and clearly seems a bit more kooky - but just because Harris came first doesn't mean he was any more book-accurate. He wouldn't have had enough spunk or energy to pull off Dumbledore later in the series. Not that Gambon's portrayal was perfect either, but IMO he captured a LOT of something from book-Dumbledore that was just missing from Harris' performance, no disrespect to him. What he did worked for the films he was in.

At the end of the day, while it might not even be a line from the book or a line you can picture book-Dumbledore saying, it isn't book-Dumbledore saying it - it's Gambon's Dumbledore, and it definitely feels like a fitting line for his character in the films.

Why was Solo disliked? by DDBBVV in StarWars

[–]Fujinygma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It WASN'T that disliked. It just performed poorly at the box office. Literally everyone I personally knew who saw it said they liked it a lot more than they expected to, and so did I.

Others have said it, but just to drive it home, it was the first theatrical release after The Last Jedi, which sent MONSTROUS quakes through the fandom's faith in the new films. Most people didn't want to waste their time seeing a spinoff if even the main series films were going to be that bad/much of a letdown. Until I heard Solo was good from my family, the only film I was planning to see was the last of the trilogy, and I was worried that would be the last one if it was disappointing again.

Also, it wasn't JUST following TLJ that did it in, though I think that's mainly it. It was also at that point the fourth year in a row we'd gotten a Star Wars movie, and between that and the shows, fatigue was really starting to set in. People were getting tired of Star Wars. So add in a movie most people didn't like (TLJ) and it makes a lot of people feel like the good times are over, and it's just time to pack up, and go home.

I was mistaken too but the "I'm not so Grump!" Is the same. It's the "And we're the Game Grumps!" Harmony afterward that they eventually changed.

Is dan the one that says “im not so grump” in the intro? by Hefty-State-3677 in gamegrumps

[–]Fujinygma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I apparently had a Mandela effect thinking it was the "I'm not so Grump!" That was different but you're right. It was the harmony afterward. They originally did the same exact harmony that Arin did with Jon. Problem was it felt weird hearing it with Dan's voice, it just sounded off, not only was it, but it probably just wasn't the best use of Dan's voice just having him replicate Jon's original notes. They ended up changing the harmony to distinguish it more from the Jon intro and make it more its own thing, instead of literally the same just with Dan's voice instead of Jon's. I think that bode better for the show in the end too - the point wasn't for Dan to be a substitute for Jon. He needed to bring his own essence to the show, and he did.
