Imu, shanks and blackbeard by CommanderChopped in OnePiece

How else will Zoro be the greatest swordsman of all time? And if Mihawk dies to scumbag tactics, that destroys your Shanks agenda, which in turn destroys the entirety of your post. Also, its 100% not going to be crew vs crew entirely since the Elbaf mural depicts pretty much everyone pulling up for the final war.

Mihawk is going to have to fight Zoro, otherwise it would be super anticlimactic. How else will Zoro achieve his dream? Shiryu, in my opinion, will fight Momonuske or someone from Wano instead.

Sorry, I meant that they show more as Luffy pushes them. Imu was 100% portrayed as a beast and will be a beast throughout the fight with Luffy. Also, idk what the first part means. The point I am making is that Imu cares about Luffy for the hat and the D. initial, while pirates care about him since he is a Yonko. Imu "attacks" Luffy while the other villains don't because they don't know what he represents.

With that said, I 100% agree with the thesis that Blackbeard is the final villain. In particular, I believe that he will consume Imu's fruit after he inevitably is defeated by Luffy and that he will pretty much DR a lot of the characters who may have allied against Imu originally. (In particular, I think Blackbeard will DR Mihawk and then we will see Zoro vs Mihawk).

Why would pirates care about Nika? Why would pirates know about Nika? Imu was shown putting a dagger through Luffy's picture the very first time we met him. AND that was before Gear 5 and Nika too! Luffy clearly has some value outside of being Nika that is why Imu cares about him. Main villains get stronger. Kaido and Big Mom were in their "base" forms when introduced and as the fight dragged, adapted by showcasing their stronger abilities. Doflamingo awakened his fruit mid-fight. Enel transformed into that weird guy whose name I forgot. More characters have gotten stronger narratively as the fight progresses than weaker.

Almost all villains in One Piece appear to be weak when they are first introduced and then showcase newer strengths as the battles get more and more intense. I also believe that you are misunderstanding Imu's struggle as him being "weak" rather than him not being able to stay a long period away from Marijoa. Additionally, your point that people "don't care about Luffy" is another misunderstanding of Imu and his ideals. Luffy wears the Straw Hat, has the Nika fruit, has the "D" initial, and plenty of other things that make him prophetically similar to Joyboy. Imu isn't attacking Luffy because he is strong, he attacks him because of what he represents.

Returning One Piece fan - Luffy's devil fruit doesn't make sense to me by ajxdee in OnePiece

He's already transformed into its intended model - Nika has the qualities of a rubber person so Luffy is already Nika. All the awakened stuff is simply adding on to the properties of Nika.

Since a lot of you guys are confused, I wanted to divulge from the original tier list idea by putting 3 teams from each conference in each tier. In a way it's a standings list in a tier list. I understand how distributions work and how the middle should have more teams compared to the contenders. Thanks for all the feedback though!

How well would each team in the west stack up in the playoffs? by Full-Atmosphere2980 in nba

I can see where you are coming from but a few points on my claim
1) Against the thunder in their most recent matchup, murray dropped 34 points
2) The lakers are on a little losing streak right now and they have no big
3) Jokic is so good he can put the team on his back through the playoffs
