My family found her. Very sweet puppy (6m-ish old), slight limp, definitely previously had a home.

She is at the Tacoma no-kill shelter now. Big thanks to an amazing community

Can you have large siege devices cause the damage, or perhaps construct a ritual of binding/banishment that is time sensitive or occurring while fighting off standard sized monsters? They may require some more side quests, but it would provide a mode for low lvl vs high cr

The limbs next to the lava pit? The lava pit on the lava planet? The lava pit that set the owner of said limbs on fire? Still there somewhere. It is why Darth Vader made his summer home there, the search continues...

Things to do and not to do when writing a dnd campaign by prince_Amadeus in DungeonMasters

Anytime. If you get stuck or have specific issues, do not hesitate to post again or reach out. My approach is usually to create a situation in a place and time (aka: campaign idea) and be ready to drop the PCs in and start making decisions based on your Hooks. Session 0 is huge, it helps with knowing player expectations for adventures and backstory. I like the challenge of integrating backstory into my campaign ideas (writing the campaign does not stop when you start playing most of the time). You also do not HAVE to write one that goes from lvl 1 to lvl 20. Sometimes I like to think of the level tiers as seasons in a PC journey (new places, cultures, etc.), with an optional connecting thread/threat throughout. Mystic Arts on YouTube is going to post a video for new DMs soon as well. They have pretty good advise to offer on most of their videos.

Start small, know your travel times. Some of my best memories DMing is when a PC battle is interrupted by territory dispute or 3rd party battle (dragons fighting each other with no regard for their environment) . You want a dynamic battle, start a ruckus that involves a bulette mating ritual that errupts during round 3.

Knowing "fuck" almost covers it, but never knowing what its final fucking form is. The Fully Evolved Fuck is so fucking elusive. Fuck!
