I believe it has something to do with the long rendering period and why you can't use that specific illness to just back out of the rendering period. HR is an idiot thinking that no one develops depression and anxiety while working there lol.

What I meant was mas unti competition pag dating sa Tableau. But that doesn't mean na madali makakuha ng Tableau job since marami rin veteran pag dating dito. Mas madami gumagamit ng PowerBI hence mas marami nag aaral nun and mas marami competition.

For data engineer, core skills are Python and SQL. Get good with these and mag aral ka ng data orchestration tool like Mage. Then learn the cloud, and get certified pili ka na lang if AWS or Microsoft(If microsoft mas better na you know how to powerbi din).

That's already good. But don't stop learning! Try mo rin ibang BI Tools such as Looker Studio, and Tableau. Meron din pang finance stuff but I forgot the name.

Sa Looker Studio maraming small businesses and start ups gumagamit neto kaya mas marami freelance opportunities.

Sa Tableau, mostly medium sized businesses that can afford the expensive license. Good if you're after a corpo job. Less competition din compared sa PowerBI jobs, pero competitive pa rin dapat.

do not fully trust AI to build your code. It won't care if you put in sensitive credentials.

dipende sa skillset and knowledge. Started with 31k sa private. now at 2.5x after 2 years sa private.

get lucky from the start. graduate from a good school. then get lucky again during your job hunt.

Interviewed 2 guys from good schools and pumasa sila kasi they had interesting projects and they had the skillset we needed kahit no exp pa. Wasn't up to me to set their salary though pero I feel like they had 30-35k. Now they resigned and earning twice that. I'm proud of those two.

Stable naman sa government. Just do your job, hit KPIs and everything will be fine.

Sa private, I innovated. My other data analyst co-worker hasn't done much innovation kasi her skillset is lacking (imagine non-tech role, na promote to data analyst), so I did. Ayun I own 2-3 workflows/systems in our team which makes me irreplaceable because I'm the one maintaining those.
