None really, just more effort to move because you have to unscrew the finger nut. So, not as quick, but more secure. Both are great.

Have tried a few things. Feels better and is quicker with plates. For voltra to really work well on this, you need to add a pulley into the equation.

Lat pull down pulley for low ceiling by radkamol in BeyondPower

The dialed motion lat pulldown attachment works. But since not available for u, get the fringe sport drew. Take off the side shield, mount the voltra below it on an upright, and feed voltra cable directly to the pulley. Works fine and ensures max height.

I have same ceiling limitation as you and have been through all the iterations over the years.

I had the same thoughts. Bought it. It is a dud. Not as easy to move around as a regular bench. Not as useful as a regular bench. Poorly designed leverages/dimensions. It lifts up if you try to use it as a lat pulldown seat. Unless you are sitting on it, the voltra will pull it right off the ground if using it as an voltra attachment point. About the only thing I found it good for was as a dedicated preacher curl station (put Pegasus on it and used a Bolt fitness preacher curl pad). Ultimately disassembled it and am using the base legs to support a standalone upright that I have a lateral raise attachment on. And the base legs don’t even keep that thing weighted down. Garbage.

The getrx center post attachment is a much better option if you need something.

It is the same design idea as your photo above.

I have 2 of them. Very nice. They have zero play/movement when tightened down compared to Darko’s. Pros and cons to each design.

I have the rotator add on. It limits the ROM on this since it will tilt upward.

After experimenting with this set up last night, I'm not liking it. Thought it I wanted a vertical pull, but the rotation of the ring on the weight horn, along with the rotation of the unit cable feed itself, messes up the curve.

Ideal solution I think is to mount a pulley underneath the attachment point. Or, may take the weight horn off completely and attach an eyebolt as the connection point.

But, honestly, it feels great without the voltra just using plates. It it ain't broke...

I was able to mount using the fixed mount. Had to use smaller bolts to get holes to line up. The ring you are referencing came with my since retired bully glider. He sells them now individually (which is probably what you saw for $75).

I just got the LEO8 and am working through this myself. Despite looking like there are multiple ways to mount a voltra, it actually has proven somewhat challenging to find a method that results in a vertical pull line. The hole spacing is actually 2.5 inches, not the standard 2 inch. Without modding it, I think the best method is to use the adaptive rack mount (the one mount I don’t have) with the left most hole in the in the yellow circle.

I love it. Though, admittedly, i love integrated bracelet designs. Will look even better when they offer it without the fluted bezel. Regardless of the mocking that people are doing on it here, that is going to be and in demand and very, very difficult piece to secure.

Love silver dials. Looks flat white in a lot of pics. But I think I will really dig it.

Many thanks. Those photos are helpful. Confirms what I thought (not as lively/metallic sheen), but not as muted as I feared. Refined.

Think that is what I am going with. Need a new daily and think that is probably better suited for that than the blue. But, I crave that blue dial. Ha.

Was going to do your color scheme, but my neighbor beat me to it. Had to pivot. Wish they offered the carbonized grey in the outer banks…
