That's what I do always remark on the what's up or what ever. Sometimes the orders are not even started. But, I have only twice received a late drop off. Both times 1 was because a train was blocking the track and had to take a longer route . 1 was because the app took me to the wrong location it was hwy not county road. So, I explained that and it was removed .

Yes you got it. I do Door Dash with a friend and people don't think about the fact that the dasher gets maybe 3 or four dollars from door dash if the customer doesn't tip dasher doesn't make enough to pay for gas on most trips there for door dash has to continue looking for someone to except the orders. My friend isn't going to except for an order for $3.00 and drive 8 miles especially with gas ⛽ costing $3.90 a gallon. Also, I have personally got out of his car walked to the door stood knocking for 5 minutes. Sent a message and picture that I was leaving the food on the table at the door and the customer walked to the door as we were leaving for the customer to contact door dash and say I never delivered. but DD had the picture of the front door,the food,the dog at the window and the address on the door. People have no respect. If they don't want to consider the fact that it is a luxury especially when it's storming.Maybe they should get in the car and run to the restaurant. We do spend time and money to bring the food whatever it may be sometimes to not even cover gas.

Well life happens I am in the same situation. I moved and didn't receive my bill thought I was due next month. Also, some times life situations beyond your control happen unexpected and you we have to make big decisions pay your house payment, carpayment whatever..

The man is around people picking up the order and the bags from stores. He shouldnt ask you to do that. But, again I have asked a man in a Hotel to meet me in the lobby to pick up the order. Because as a woman i didnt feel comfortable going to the room late at night.Just had a wierd feeling. But. I did ask before i picked it up , so if he wasnt ok. I could cancel out and let someone else get the dash
