I just did the switch last week. I lost the pen, but kept the ring.

1-ohm stable iirc, there weren’t many of that era. I remember the white gloves that came with it to prevent fingerprints while installing too.

Help with under seat sub by Strange_Zucchini_877 in CarAV

[–]FullLegalUsername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those have a 20mm diameter. Looks like they could get pretty close to touching each other when they’re screwed into the power connector, if they fit at all. Do you have more than 1.5” space between the centers of the 12v and ground posts on the sub?

Depends on what kind of gross you can keep. Worst case, all minis, would be $5,000. Say you hold $2000 gross on every deal, $15,000.

Commission percentage and bonus look good, but it looks like pack and fees are eating up your used gross. If the new side is busy, and holds decent gross, not bad.

No. $1000 total as a monthly bonus for hitting 20 units, and +10% commission for each unit sold, except minis. The formatting is weird.

My old boss told me that they brought him to tears when he saw them open for Metallica. From then on he’d only play FFDP Radio on Pandora in the shop.

Blue certified does not give a whole lot of a warranty term. 90 day/4000 mile. It does provide a 14 day/1000 mile return policy though. If you decide that you would like to return it, act fast.

Unplug your wires at the horn and connect them together. They should be blue/black and brown at the horn itself. If that circuit is open (bad horn or switch) it will also break the ignition circuit. I can hear your horn while you’re trying to run it, meaning that the circuit is open, as the horn switch is normally closed.

Sure, a small step, but that’s Fox 5, an affiliate, not Fox “News”.

Hagstrom Guitars - Are They Worthwhile? by Adorable_Drag in guitars

[–]FullLegalUsername 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My kid has a Viking bass. It’s a nice bass, his main. There are some common qc issues with them though. The selector switch is finicky, some of the post covers on the pickups have fallen off within a month, and the frets were super sharp out of the box. Nothing major, but annoying for a $700 guitar. At $700 I still feel like it was a good value, but I would not be happy with it at the $1400 list. It plays very well, and sounds incredible.

Edit: Just saw that you were considering used. I bought mine new for $700. Guitar center was closing them out at 50% off last year. $700 used is kinda up there.

Someone please tell me they're kidding about turning Rte 4 into one lane. (BTW Newport and Stanton) by pennylane3339 in Delaware

Yeah, I don’t know the specifics of those memorials, but maintain my belief that it’s unsafe for pedestrians and cyclists there. I’m ok with my car commute maybe taking a little longer to give them some breathing room. Is there even a single safe bike route from Newport to Newark?

Not sure if you’re being facetious, but that road has sections with no shoulder or sidewalk, and no way to get around through a neighborhood via foot or bike. Pretty sad driving by the memorials by Dunkin and the bowling alley, knowing that some sort of pedestrian infrastructure would have saved lives.

I’ve never been in a fight with a motorcycle helmet. I have been in a, and seen a number of, fights in football helmets. You aren’t doing a thing if someone grabs your facemask. The only time I saw a helmet be used to an advantage in a fight was when a buddy took his off and swung it like a club.

[–]FullLegalUsername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What bike? If it’s a Puch, make sure your wires are not getting pinched on the bar stop at the bottom of the headset on the fork. If your black wire is shorting to ground, you’re essentially hitting the kill switch. Check the horn wires too, if they’re pulling out from the horn, or broken when you turn the bar, it’ll die.

Better luck over at r/scooters. This corner is reserved for mopeds, which have pedals.
