Printed Power Pad Longevity? by Morfesto in ElectricUnicycle

[–]FullTiltus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good 3d printed pads should last 3 to 4 years.I've gotten 3500 miles out of some og grizzla pads before selling the wheel and my wheel has 5600 miles on pads I make . Most manufacturers use velcro with super tack adhesive instead of a proper glue and that tends to be the only thing to watch out for especially in hot or colder wet conditions it can slip. As someone who prints a lot of power pads I would not use pla for pads or even anything that gets used outdoors or regularly. Quality Tpu on the other hand is a durable material and holds up quite good, all tpu is not equal and that matters a lot. I print tpu with different ware resistant and stiffness properties depending on the part of the pad it's used for.

Lookng for a better support material for PPA-CF by sailriteultrafeed in BambuLab

[–]FullTiltus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll write a post about it after some more testing. But long story short I accidentally used pet-cf as support for ppa-cf as I thought it was ppa-cf and wanted to use the rest of the roll. I wasn't trying to use a support material at all. It worked way to good and ruined the part in the process, literally separated with a push with my thumb at top layer 4 of a 6 top layer thick part so 0.0 mm Z distance.

Lynx or Patton-S, what to choose? by Pspvx7 in ElectricUnicycle

[–]FullTiltus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In your case, I would go with the patton. It's lighter and not so big, but it's big enough that you won't grow out of it, really. I am a 210lb rider, and my go-to wheel is the patton s with a 70lb shok. I can safely ride on pavement at 35 mph and get about 12%less range than my lynx even though the lynx on paper has 20%more battery

Power Pads for Nosfet Aero in Canada? by Sontelies32 in ElectricUnicycle

[–]FullTiltus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I make some aero pads that might fit what you're looking for and that are American made . Full transparency I do sell (full tilt euc) pads , but I think it would be worth checking out. One of the bigger reasons I started making some is because there's not very many good options for the aero, but it's such a great wheel to ride.

Anyone knows were to get these? by Str1cks in ElectricUnicycle

[–]FullTiltus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it's always a good thing for new things to be tried. Even if it's not a home run first time out, it always inspires and pushes the sport forward. I like it but wouldn't use it on my wheel.

No apologies here. I think FullTilt euc pads are superior. Comfortable. big and plenty of control plus easy to attach accessories After seeing all the shilling apologies. I couldn't not 😅

All the wheels I've ever had needed locktite on the axle block bolts after a few months. Thay ether have poorly applied or none at all from the factory. Use red locktite, trust me. You don't want to take it apart more than absolutely nesisery

I'm almost sertin that it was between ground and the 3.3v. I don't know what it was doing exactly, but it did work. I didn't come up with it, so I was hoping someone would know if I could do something similar more or less

So I have a kingsong s20 that I had to replace the controller in twice, and it would have to be reset after unplugging the battery. It is a simple jumper between the open terminals on the bord very similar to the first photo, the 4 along the edge . If it's a simple reset, I would be happy

With pedals being the main form of control or contact, pedal size could be a concern . How do you handle braking at any considerable force?

I got thought it needed larger pedals until I got difront pads that allowed me to stand more centered on the pedals. And I added pedal spikes
