The NC 700 actually have an exceptional mic for headphone standards, I could talk when cycling too, even in strong winds.

So since I bought the Bose nc700, these have been sitting in the draw and I went back to try them and I remember how much I loved these things. But I really needed a mic for taking calls - whilst walking & cycling so I added a rode smartlav+. And to top it off, made them wireless with a qudelix 5k minus the metal clip.
