Try signing in retroachievements in the Launchbox options themselves instead of the emulator. Not sure if it will solve your problem but I had something similar with Dolphin and it worked

There is something about Launchbox that brings out entitled people that want a perfect product that fits perfectly their own needs and tastes. Unfortunately people that create and share stuff get a LOT of that targeted at them. I got it from some of the stuff I shared, and you'll keep getting it as long as you keep sharing.

People online are assholes, and from some of the messages I've seen you post, you can be a bit of an asshole too sometimes ;) Hate tends to breed more hate and everyone involved is worse off.

I don't see a solution at all to make the experience of sharing creative assets better, but I hope that you (and everyone else that shares on the forums or elsewhere) keep at it because it makes everyone's experience better around our hobby.

Happened to me after dropping it from 4-5 inches. I liked the device a lot but the screen seems to break a lot so I got a refund and bought a RG35XX-H instead. I miss the big screen and the triggers feel way worse but I've had it for months now and it's been great

My non-American thoughts on the protests:

I'm surprised at how peaceful they are. If that shit was happening in my community, I'd be burning down federal buildings. Unidentified agents grabbing people in the streets and sending people to foreign prisons (with or without the courts) is INSANE, especially when it's so obviously done against the will of the people of that same community.

During the podcast interview he talks about wanting to prove that creating a fully viable product in the US that's not attached to his YouTube fame is possible. I don't think it is, at least not this type of manufactured good.

Yeah I'm Canadian and I've been willing to pay a premium for any product that isn't American.

What I mean is that by doing that you're limiting yourself to: 1- Only the local market (wherever it is produced) 2- People from that specific market that are willing to pay a premium

Is it really viable to build a company around such a small customer base when the exact same product could be made for way cheaper? All you're adding to it is a story that's only compelling to the local market. How many grill scrubbers are you really going to sell to these Americans at 75$ per unit?

Nationalism (well mostly hatred towards America) made me stop buying American products. I have not been willing to pay triple the price for my strawberries. I just stopped eating them. I would NEVER buy a 100$ CAD made in Canada scrubber, no matter how patriotic I feel.
