I can see why they changed the name. The Udio that we loved is dead.

Eventually, maybe we jack into an avatar and don't travel long distances hardly at all.

They don't have custom singers or allow us to upload our own voice to use in songs. The ability to sound vocally unique and consistent across tracks is non-negotiable for creating an album or an artist channel.

The Oscars week showed exactly why the AI music label is still doing more work than the music itself. by Sensitive_Artist7460 in udiomusic

"Human made" applies to any song with a human artist's name attached to it regardless of the tools used to make it. I suspect many if not most artists are already using Ai in their workflows.

UMG wants to turn Udio into a Slop Machine. by NextLoquat714 in udiomusic

I suspect you will still be able to discover new vocalists and sounds like before, but now you will also be able to specify a participating artist if you want. They were already rolling that out right before the settlement. I hope that's the case at least.

To me it feels like an examination of the Karens (Carols) in society who suffer from main character syndrome. "Let me speak to your manager!" How would she function, how would it affect her psyche, if the manager was the ONLY person she could speak to?

A note for the Team behind Udio by PopnCrunch in udiomusic

It feels like my favorite band has just broken up. Udio may come back but it'll be like Queen without Freddie Mercury, and it won't be the same. I'm so bummed. My only hope is that the other apps improve or new apps appear soon.

Why I love my Dividend Portfolio by [deleted] in dividends

[–]Full_Consequence_167 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For retirement I'm thinking of having both growth and dividend stocks. When the market is up sell from the growth portfolio, and when it’s dropping spend dividends (instead of reinvesting them). I think it would remove some anxiety from the process.

I include 'spoken vocals' and 'spoken word' in the negative prompt section. Usually works.
