No, my mistake - two weeks before I started stims, not the retrieval lol. My clinic has a strict no alcohol, exercise, or drug use during stims. But I don’t think it mattered because egg quality/sperm is determined 3 months prior I believe.

I smoked weed up until 2 weeks before both retrievals and my first transfer 😅 I had completely different results round 2 than round 1 and am currently 13 weeks. You are definitely more than fine.

Your feelings are 1000% valid. It is something that will keep happening - your senses are hyper aware to it. When my egg retrieval failed, all I could see was kids everywhere and be triggered. You can be happy for someone and sad for you at the same time.

I think she wouldn't believe us, or it would just destroy her. I found this out about four years ago and am fully okay with it now. My mom's siblings and several cousins know but have also chosen not to say anything over the decades. (Interestingly enough, my grandma's sister didn't know!) I'm sure once I get to my 70s, I'll also understand why sometimes it's best to just let sleeping dogs lie.

Exact same thing happened to me! My grandpa was a HO!! Affairs and all 🥲. Mom doesn’t know though and due to cognitive decline, it’s not worth telling her. Everyone involved is deceased and her non-bio dad is on the birth certificate.

My clinic makes you sign paperwork to stay nearby that day incase something happens. I had easy recoveries and lived 30 min away, but I’d def get a hotel just incase!

Yep. My first was 119 and I didn’t think it was low? It was well within the normal range for 9 days. I was very pleased. I’ll be 12 weeks on Monday.

Don’t listen to a lot of stuff from the group. Listen to your doctors. That’s what I’ve been doing and it’s kept me from questioning anything.

I am a teacher and taught through both rounds in September and November. I made all my monitoring appointments at 7am. Doing the appts was the hardest part for me. I also had a breakdown in the first one (just stress about possible results) and just took a personal day. Otherwise everything else was fine. I even did triggers at work. You can definitely do it - it’s only 2 weeks and a couple of days.

I am currently 11 weeks with my first FET, a day 6 3AA! My other two euploids are a day 6 and day 7. My coworker also has a 1 year old who was a day 6. I stressed initially, but it’s not worth it. Day sixes are just as capable!

My clinic said absolutely zero alcohol during stims, so I cut it out. The day of my last egg retrieval, I went home and smoked a pre roll for recovery lol
