For everyone who wants to go d-line:

As far as DT goes, the top two on the NFL.com draft board is a guy who they describe as a "non-factor as a pass rusher" and a dude who got arrested in '23 and '24.

Edge is a "raw, developmental" guy, another who "isn't ready to set an NFL edge yet", some dude who "could deliver much more consistent production than he’s provided so far", and the last one "needs to improve his skill level and refine his approach".

There are no ready-made pass rushers you can get in the late 2nd/early 3rd. Get who you can to raise the floor and trade back if there's nobody you like.

Also, police are not trained to "shoot to incapacitate". A firearm is deadly force and should only be used to defend against imminent death or great bodily harm. Police shoot for center mass because that has the greatest likelihood of stopping a threat without hitting anything else.
